v2.50 was a game breaking update

This was a decent game along the lines of Clash Royale but v2.50 ruined it. To make matters worse, several veteran players warned the developers in the player forums before its release that they should not release it. Instead they ignored us and to make matters even more worse it was downright buggy to boot. S7 admits in their forums they overhauled the underlying game architecture to such a degree that they were forced to make 2v2 a play for fun mode only. No rewards and no ranks for playing that mode. Just a buggy beta. This type of game thrived on earning ranks and with this release they obliterated every player’s hard earned ranks - Just like that gone. Never get new units after update

Was loving this game and it’s still fun strategy, but a most of the other reviews on here are true. The recent updates overhauled a lot of the game, and suddenly I never get new cards to help build my deck. I frequently get matched with opponents who have the most powerful units that I never obtain, but otherwise most matches are fair and fun to win or lose. You used to get chests with unit cards in them after every win or level up, so you’d have a chance of gaining new units or at least to upgrade your current ones, but now the only way is to spend gems on “recruiting” which never yields new cards. It even makes it hard to progress in the adventure mode. I refuse to spend a single dollar on this game, even if it means a higher chance to get newer cards.
Was good!!! I quit now.

I played this game for about a year, but now It is pay to win game, this game was so much fun, perfect match making, good rewards, lots of operation to pick from for your hero. But I quit this game now. If you have lots of money to spend than this is the game for you ?

The first few days are fun but as you play and progress they literally make you have to buy stuff in order to progress any further. Don’t get this game unless you’re okay with spending money.

The game is beautifully made and mechanically very solid. However, it has the worst free to play model I’ve ever seen! You are simply unable to level up units etc. without spending money. There is no optimal option to grind and farm up currency to get more/better units outside of multiplayer. Mind you this is literally the only playable mode after you’ve advanced so far in adventure mode and your units simply aren’t strong enough to advance any further. You would think oh well just keep doing Multiplayer matches and slowly grind up...WRONG!! To ensure you can’t do this, there is a daily cap limit on the number of coins you can earn from PVP. On top of that! As you rank up in PVP you will be begin to be matched with people who are FAR stronger than you. So no matter what strategy you employ they will steam roll you. Your only option to get stronger is to buy packs that have diamonds so you can summon more units and have a chance at legendary units. If you don’t want to spend any money don’t even bother downloading this. Unless you’re keen on losing just about every match and remaining at the same level! If so then by all means go for it! I’m at a point now in the game where I can’t get any stronger without dropping cash. I lose EVERY multiplayer match and the suggested deck requirement in adventure mode is nearly 3,000 more than my current deck. It’s A JOKE!! This is a complete cash grab and it’s disgusting to me that a team put so much effort into making this beautiful game for it to be ruined with micro-transactions and piss poor free to play mechanics ??

I was really enjoying this game before the latest update. It’s still fun, but I prefer the pre update version. It was easier to donate, opening chests was exciting, the monthly rewards were great. A lot of this has been stripped out now. Please go back to pre 2.5
Addictive, yet ultimately too frustrating!

I liked the game a lot and was playing daily, but due to dramatic updates that significantly changed game play, I found myself pouring vast amounts of time in and advancing too slowly. Also, I really don’t care to lose as much as the latest version seems to require. I finally got so frustrated that I removed the program.
