Best Wikipedia app ever

I'm rewriting my glowing review from a couple of years ago to a not so glowing review. There hasn't been an update in 18 months, and now this once great app is getting buggy. Please update.

I waited for this app to be updated to iOS 7. Took 4 months to do it. Sorry, but I switched over to Wikipanion and have been very happy.
App won't start

Love Wikibot, but this version gets stuck on a spinning dial on startup - going to revert to Wikibot 1 until this is fixed.

I loved the original Wikibot, which for some reason quit working on my IPad. I deleted the original and went to download it again from the App Store to discover the original was no more. Instead, it was replaced with this version. So, I pony up the 3 bucks to get the new one, slightly miffed that the older version is not available any longer. Low and behold, this new version WILL NOT OPEN. It is a total non-starter. Whoever does QC for both Apple and this developer needs to be terminated. Surely someone would have figured out they had an app that won't load in beta testing. This is a double rip-off. I can't use either the original version I paid for, or the new version. RIP OFF.
