Impressive New Comer!!

I am a stickler about what goes on my Today/Notification Center as you can see: • Widget Dial • Launcher • Fantastical • Omnifocus 2 • Drafts • Clips • Day one So for Widget dial to be in the company of these 6 other tried and true apps is an impressive accomplishment! Meet & Bones: It does what it says end of story. What it does though does better than anyone else! I appreciate the fact that I can condense the view in the notification center and best of all the “tap to call/tap and hold to text” is ingenious! Honestly I cannot recall any other developer use this function so big ups to you! Paying .99 ($1.99) to simplify day to day tasks worth it? Why ask questions to whom you already know the answer to? Without question! Hopes and future updates:  WATCH integration would be appreciated. How you ask? Well right now contacts on  WATCH is limited so if youcan find a niche another big ups to you! UPDATE: Wow... This update just slapped the taste out of my mouth! Sick UI (Notification center best in class)! Keep it coming dev

Bait and switch that's what this app does

Fantastic App

Really it is a beautiful App.

Works well but missing some pieces
PCM1052014

Does a nice job. But two nits. I'd like to see the ability to launch apps and create music playlist icons as Launcher can do. When I add a contact, Widget Dial displays all the phone numbers for a contact, but doesn't identify whether they are home, work, or mobile.

Great

Works great no complaints and makes it very easy to call the important people in your life.

Worthless
Doc#1

Just a list of your favorites that you already have known your phone menus. Adds nothing useful.

Useful and well designed

Wow, this app is really well designed and very convenient. I have no complaints about it so far and would only request that email be added as an option.

You need it now more than ever

12/13/16 update: The latest version (for iOS 10) is giving me a "failed to load" error message about 2 to 3 times a week, requiring a forced restart of my iPhone. I'm knocking off one star until this gets fixed. Now that Apple has dropped Contact Favorites and Contact Recents with the release of iOS 9, Widget Dial is the best available alternative for restoring that functionality. That it also gives you a widget-based dial pad is a bonus. I especially like that you can configure WD so that tapping a favorite allows you to choose whether to make a call, send a message or email, or start a Facetime session, while a long press will take you straight to a default action of your choice. The reason that I give it 4 stars, not 5, is that WD doesn't simply build the favorites list based on your favorite contacts (as designated in Contacts) -- rather, you have to import them one at a time. One other minor improvement would be to include the standard letters letters on the dial pad (as the stock dial pad does) so that it would be easy to dial alphanumeric numbers (e.g., 800-GET-HELP). Do be aware that, as of v1.1.0, there is a minor bug that affects importing contacts into the favorites list. If you try to import a linked contact (a contact record that consists of two or more source records, such as contacts from different Gmail accounts), WD currently barfs and kicks you back into the launcher. The solution is to go into Contacts, unlink the contact, then import into WD the one that has the info you want. I've reported this bug to the dev, so hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Looks promising with features

I do not buy many apps but for 99cents I took a chance. I like the features and tap brings menu while hold dials. Many other similar do not dial like this and its welcomed.
