Waste of Money

What a waste!!! The bridge mode for the WiFi is so bad. When you go to connect to the bridge, it drops the Wi Drive connection. Have to wait for it to reboot and after it reboots, it drops the wi fi again. Too time consuming. If I wanted a 32GB USB drive could have bought one for $10. The online instruction manual is useless

Dear Kingston, FIX THIS APP!!!!
flyerzman20

The Iphone wi-drive app randomly crashes, skips songs, ends some songs before they're finished & goes to next song, etc. I have to reboot my phone several times a day to get it to work again. Worst of all, Kingston apparently doesn't give a crap! No updates since October, months of negative reviews, and Kingston still does nothing to fix the problems. Very frustrated with Kingston and their who-gives-a-shlt attitude.

Can't get airplay to work

It was never as good as it could be but now it does not connect.

Decent but could be great

I bought the device because I thought it would make transferring files to and from my iPad and iPhone 5 easy. It is a good product and I like the idea of it but it is frustrating that it keeps crashing. I also have problems with the files loading and it says the file is there but says 0 kb for the file. Kingston, PLEASE FIX THESE PROBLEMS ASAP and I will give a higher rating.

Horrible app with Wi Drive.....

Never connects.....in theory, it sounds good. Wasted huge money with this product. Won't trust Kingston again with another product.

I dont have any problem with my Wi-Drive I love it, the only thing I could wish is that the player could be compatible with the component tv cable that i use on my Ipad and Iphone.

Worst app and product ever

I would be able to rate this app if it actually worked with the device. Will not connect or discover it all. What's the point? Pretty much will never buy a Kingston product again after this fiasco. Great idea, horrible execution.

The idea has promise, but...

So, a couple of things, in no particular order: 1) Half of the app is not retina, which makes it look sloppy. (Plus, I thought its been an executive decision by Apple that ALL apps are supposed to be retina at this point, although I'm not sure.) 2) It's hard to connect and not user-friendly. (One of the joys of iPhone and the majority of apps is not wading through support sites and pdf manuals just to perform basic tasks.) 3) It doesn't allow me to use the default video player, which I think would be a no-brainer. 4) Not iPhone 5 compatible, so the combination of non-retina icons and the awful black bars on top/bottom just make the whole app look like it was cobbled by a 13-year old. If you're considering buying this product, think twice. In theory, it's a good idea, but the execution is dreadful.
