Use for years

Guess Who Now

This app is the best. My sound is the thundering rain. Can’t sleep without it traveling. Great purchase

Great app, but needs to be updated for the iPhone X.

Cheapest Baby White Noise Machine!

StacyLubbers

To help our baby sleep, we looked into buying a white noise machine, but realized we could use an old iPhone (because who doesn’t have at least 3 old models just sitting in drawers around the house) and this app!! Best $$ spent and it has worked beautifully when we travel, or even when we forget the “old iPhone” because we can download it on our current phones or on an iPad in a pinch!

Best app for tinnitus!

Brady28144

I developed tinnitus 24/7 after a thyroidectomy. This app has been a life saver for me! Using it is the only way I can get to sleep. Extremely quiet surroundings will drive you bonkers with tinnitus but having this app on my phone helps me deal with it. I’m a very grateful customer!

Mix Your Sounds

DougieMusic

This is a cool app to use to relax or sleep by. You can mix different sounds together and control the volume “plus more” on each sound and match volumes in your playlist. Very user friendly.

Old faithful

Epigonism

Ever since my teenage daughter recommended this app to me about six years ago, I have used it quite regularly to block out noise, help me focus, and get stuff done despite the clamor of the world around me. It is the best and most reliable white noise generator you could use.

I can finally sleep!

Alwaysdancin84

I just moved to a busy street in Brooklyn and realized I should buy a fan or try to find something to generate white noise- and this app came to the rescue! So good! I’m finally able to sleep through street noise. I love the colored-noise options- my favorite is “brown noise”. Puts me right out. Thank you thank you thank you.

Congratulations on 10 years of White Noise!

Apple Rocks Hard

This app has always held some sentimental value for me, because it was one of the very first apps I ever downloaded, when I got my very first iOS device. I used it, and loved it, for about a year or two. But then, after a while, I just stopped. Since about 2012, I’ve made several attempts at getting excited about this app again, but until very recently, I’ve been disappointed. I didn’t like the White Noise market at first. I thought it was way too clunky and complicated, and besides that, white noise itself lost VoiceOver support for a while. That really made me mad. When that happened, I pretty much gave up. But today, for the first time in a long while, I decided to give white noise another chance, and oh boy! Am I ever glad I did or what! Version 7.2 is so freaking awesome! It has VoiceOver accessibility support again, thank Goodness, and it’s actually better than it was before. Now, I can read the help guide. In fact, every single menu and button in White Noise is perfectly accessible, and that just makes my day. It thrills me to no end when an app that used to have little or no accessibility support is updated to become fully accessible. I cannot even begin to express how happy I am that white noise is once again working with voiceover, even better than it used to several years ago. Aside from that, I love how easy it is to download sounds from White Noise market directly into the app, and how easy it is to play and manage them. The selection of downloadable sounds is huge, and fantastic, and using White Noise to enjoy them is just perfect, with how well the app works now. It looks as if you can create your own recordings from directly within white noise, which I haven’t tried yet. But, I plan on it. I wished for that feature a few years back, and I’m glad to see it implemented, although that probably happened before this latest version, while I’ve been away. In any case, thanks to the developer for allowing recording of sounds from directly within White Noise. Now, if only the White Noise market could be directly integrated into the White Noise app itself, so that I don’t have to download a separate market app and clutter up my home screen, that would be the icing on the cake. But, if that can’t be done because of the money they make from the ads displayed in white noise market, or something like that, I totally understand. I can live with a little bit of home screen clutter, if that’s the case. Anyway, I am so glad I tried white noise again, and didn’t give up on it. I’ve already recommended it to a friend, and I would say, to any newcomer looking for a great relaxation app, one that just plays soothing sounds to help you sleep, white noise is definitely One of the best out there. For any long time users of White Noise, if you’ve given up on this app, like I did, and haven’t re-downloaded it in a couple of years, please give it another chance. You’ll be glad you did. Thank you, TMSOFT, for these great recent updates, and congratulations on your new spa music album. Planning to buy that for Christmas.

Works Like a Charm

Brown Noise lets me fall asleep anytime, anywhere. Blowing Wind is hypnotic. Stream Water is mesmerizing. Ocean Waves Crashing is hella relaxing and puts me in mind of falling asleep on a beach. Simply beautiful.

Fantastic selection of sounds

My family uses this app every night & for the occasional nap. What a difference it makes in being able to transition into a relaxed, drowsy state. We love the brown noise sound best but have fun playing with the other sounds as well. Fun for kids.
