As a local Charlottean, I trust WFAE first for my news. Now, whether it’s waiting at Jiffy Lube for an oil change or sitting in the airport waiting for a flight - WFAE is on and goes with me. Tremendously enjoy this app.

This app works fairly well. My broadband connect is not as fast as Google fiber. I'm in rural Union County, NC and use TWC modems. I enjoy reading the articles and listening to live broadcasts. NPR is an objective and accurate news source.

Thank goodness for this app! I first discovered it shortly after I bought a car with a broken radio...still waiting for the new radio to come in...so, I got my small, Bluetooth speaker and then searched for NPR apps and found this one. I have always enjoyed listening in the car, but now I can listen and stay up to date on local and national news everywhere. Very user friendly and I love the fact that the live feed starts as soon as you open the app. Having pasts stories available is also wonderful.

I do not have a radio in my office so listen to WFAE via this app. I have found it to be very reliable. It is a very good app compared to other radio apps.
