Pop Up Adds

Ever since I did the latest update there are now pop up adds that repeatedly take over the screen. On average I have to close the add about 3 to 4 times each time I am reading a small article. As this is a local news channel for me and one of my most used apps on my phone it is very sad that I am putting it “away” into a folder to see if the next update fixes it. If not I will be deleting it. (Please fix this!)

I just deleted this app from my phone because I can’t read a news story without being interrupted with an ad every two seconds.

Ads are too intrusive and too redundant. Otherwise, WESH is my preferred source for Central Florida (Lake County) news!

I think the app is great I think it runs great I think it’s easy to use my only criticism is of course we know you have to have ads and sponsorship however living in Florida we count on and rely on this app , it is the only one that works during the hurricanes and we have no power during the hurricanes to charge our phones so watching a five minute commercial when you’re in serious danger like when we are having storms, it endangers lives (your house is shaking feels like it’s about to fall down and you have to watch a commercial about a car ) and I wish during emergency times they would not run ads especially during the hurricanes and the outages in Central Florida , We are using life saving battery on our phone and relying on the news to direct us during the storms it’s not fair to try to sell us things at those times ! Please stop running ads during hurricanes and power outages during a state of emergency in general !
