Weird Park: Superb Show! I'm buying tickets!

You are a reporter who is investigating the disappearance of a boy who apparently was kidnapped from his bedroom closet and was brought to a twisted, creepy, bizarre world in a circus environment. Can you get him back from the evil little joker? The graphics are beautiful and clear with a palette containing darker but vibrant colors to create a spooky ambiance. There are many ominous elements of creepiness to keep you on your toes, such as menacing mechanical toys; strange contraptions; and scary monsters popping out at you in ever changing environments. There are two modes of difficulty, with no option to customize. The inventory is labeled, interactive, and does require assembly. I like that there are directional arrows so you know where to click if you WANT to be taken back a screen. The map, which is the compass symbol located to the right of the inventory bar, has fast transport and tells you if you have something to do. The journal is a traditional one, which I appreciate. You can read the story as you progress, and it will rise up and a pen will scribble on it so you can tell when new info has been entered. It also holds clues to solve puzzles, which makes the game more interesting. The HOS were varied and fun, such as standard word lists with some interaction; progressive silhouette (find an item by shape; then manipulate it back into the scene); and "assemble a complete object by finding its parts", with some other interaction. The puzzles were frequent and fun as well - nothing too challenging except for two rotational ones. One type was to move levers along a path to the lion's eyes by using arrows; another was when you "gave a dummy a hand" and it wound up a mechanism containing a storybook stage where you help a puppet girl complete several actions. Creativity and innovation! You are collecting candy canes scattered throughout the locations, and some are well blended into the background. There is a bonus chapter, and the extras include your achievements. All in all, a great game for a great price, like this developer's other games.

This was one of the best games I have ever played! Alawar, BigFish has nothing on you, and I don't know why they're not distributing your games. If not for KimTwilight, I would never have gone and bought so many of your new games. This game has everything. First of all, unlike with BigFish, you get a trial. It had a good storyline, gorgeous graphics and very dynamic cutscenes, a ton of locations to unlock, and instantaneous load between these locations. You could choose from 2 difficulty modes. There was a journal, and it was extremely helpful. There was an IN-GAME strategy guide. Objectives were updated regularly. There were navigational arrows. There was a great marked teleport map. All inventory was labeled and there were plus items to assemble. The only collectibles were candy canes. It was a very lengthy game and had a nice long bonus chapter. The HO scenes were varied, not just boring word lists. There was a good variety of puzzles and mini-games. The game played flawlessly and there were no glitches at all; everything flowed well! I even was pretty calm because at the beginning of the game there were several RATS, but Alawar even does those well, and doesn't totally freak you out by enlarging them or having them jump out at you on the screen. This is a must play! Thank you, fabulous and amazing KimTwilight, for this recommendation! Because of you, I actually have games to play without having to replay old games over and over because we only get one new game from BigFish in this genre per week. I highly will recommend this game to the Dream Team Elite, especially Dracyy! Lynxie sends ?❤️? to all her fellow reviewers!

Excellent!!! ?????⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Can't put it down. The best HO game I've played this year. Great storyline, teleporting map, hint button, labeled inventory, solvable mini games that make you think but not too hard, and collectible candy canes. Make more like this. I would give this 10 stars if I could.

Come On, Everyone! Let's Get Weird!

Thank you, Alawar, for producing yet another superior Weird Park game! I hope it is not really the last one. (Executives of Alawar: Please treat all these developers to a giant pizza on behalf of dedicated fans!) To all gamers: Take note that the Weird Park games are stellar examples of what every Hidden Object game should be! I kept the first Weird Park game open on my iPad for over one year, repeatedly playing it every time I was disgusted with a different developer's game, because Weird Park, too, was perfect. There are NO GLITCHES, and no moments when you debate whether you should just toss your cash away by deleting the game in frustration. The game has an actual, coherent story line, even though it is fantasy. You have Candy Canes to collect. Most of the Hidden Objects require some work, such as combining pieces. The Mechanical puzzles require thought, but you have that handy Hint/Skip button for that. This carnival atmosphere is so realistic that one can almost smell the stale popcorn and elephant ears! Characters have been developed with enough depth that you actually feel sorrow for the kidnapped dead clown. Hurry and purchase this beauty to convince Alawar to make more excellent games like Weird Park 3!

I give it a 4.....

Musicforever121

I would give this game a 5, but there is one problem. First off I don't remember the game telling me I would have to purchase it at all to keep playing. The game says free so I thought it was a free game. No where in the game does it tell you that your playing a trial version or anything to let you know your going to have to purchase it. When they get to the point to purchase it they don't tell you how much it is. Sorry, but I'm not going to sit here an buy any game for $20 to be done it in a week. They need to put the price. All it did was once it got to the point it brought the apple sign in like you do when downloading a game. Sorry but I want to know how much before buying.

An awesome funhouse ride of a game!

I played the first two installments in this series, which were released by Big Fish. I really enjoyed them (particularly the second, Scary Tales), which isn't surprising because they were both developed by Alawar as well. This third installment has been distributed directly by the developer at half the price, and it's as fabulous as the first two. So what's not to love? :-) The story takes you through one bizarrely wonderful scene after another as you rescue the latest of Sir Dudley's victims. You have a detailed journal to remind you of important clues, and the map enables teleportation. The graphics, cut scenes, voice acting and soundtrack are all top-notch. I also loved the combination of challenging, novel minigames and complex HOPs. I didn't experience a single glitch, which may be a first for my AppStore experience! There is a bonus chapter that serves as a prequel to the entire series, and it is just as high-quality as the main game. I will definitely play this again, and frankly I would've paid more. I'm not complaining, however! This game is a no-brainer at this price. Have fun!
