Countless photos and videos lost from my sisters wedding as a result of failed attempts to use this app- not only by me, but numerous guests of the wedding. App freezes and gives network error message. Some weren't even able to open the app. Customer service reps - who are less than helpful- blame the internet connection (which is BS- we tried over multiple wifi networks and cellular data, and live in NYC). Reps also try and blame iOS- if your app doesn't work with iOS what good are you? Only android users can work this app successfully? Don't waste your money or time. If for some crazy reason after reading this, you decide to buy this app, make sure you take the pics and videos through your camera- not the app directly - otherwise they'll be lost in the black hole vortex that this app is.

This app is great if you want to capture your wedding but don't want to spend thousands of dollars! Well worth it! They also help with editing to capture the best moments!
Great idea for DIY wedding

My wedding was very much DIY because I wanted to stick to a budget. I hadn't considered doing a wedding video, but then saw another friend use this for their wedding and thought it would be neat to have a highlights video. Despite not getting a whole lot of videos (most of my guests only uploaded still pictures), the highlights video is still a pretty cool compilation of photos and a few short clips from the videos that were uploaded. I do like that this is very much mobile phone-based since most people nowadays use their phones exclusively for photos/videos. However, the app is a little glitchy in that sometimes it would just give an error when I tried to upload photos, and I'd have to restart it in order to get the files to upload. I also wish that as the bride/groom that you could see all the uploaded photos from guests on your app, but you have to log onto the website in order see all the uploaded photos. It is nice that you can download all the uploaded photos from your guests if you want a way to consolidate and collect all the photos from the day. The ordering process is a little bit confusing on the website because everytime you add a feature it creates what looks like a new order. But if I needed help I just emailed WeddingMix and usually had my answer/help within 1-2 business days. If you're looking for a professional-grade video, this is not for you (unless you have guests who are amazing videographers). But if you just want something to remember your special day from your guests' point of view, this is a good affordable option!

We enjoyed our experience with WeddingMix. For us, it offered the opportunity to get a great wedding video when a live videographer was out of our budget. We enthusiastically endorse, and have recommended to friends, but you should make sure to think it through before you book. It's one more thing you'll need to coordinate in advance of, or less ideally, on the day of, your wedding. Make sure you're prepared for that! They send helpful advice leading up to the wedding about making sure you've assigned shooters for the cameras they provide and that you've notified all your friends in advance that they should take cell phone videos and be ready to upload them. You should follow this advice! We weren't quite so on top of things. We ended up handing the cameras off pretty last minute, but fortunately we chose well, and our friends took awesome video of the before wedding preparation, the ceremony (where we had one of them set up a tripod), the toasts and all the other big moments! We communicated to a few of our more social media savvy friends that they should take cell phone video at the reception, and their videos perfectly captured the dancing and carousing later in the evening. Fast forward a few months, and picking the scenes for the video from all the clips that had been uploaded turned out to be a lot of fun. Watching our ceremony and toasts to pick the perfect cuts allowed us to relive it all -- and we look forward to watching those moments for years to come. WeddingMix did a great job editing it all together into a video that we'll always cherish. We're really glad we went with WeddingMix, and recommend it to all, with the caveat that you should have a plan in place to make sure it doesn't cause you any extra stress on the big day!

Me and my husband were looking at prices for videographer and they were super expensive. So we were ok without having a video of our wedding until I came across the WeddingMix . I read on and everyone on her were raving on how awesome they were and how affordable it is. We love it because all our family and friends were able to help us catch a lot of great memories. I would highly recommend using the WeddingMix.

I love the option to create my own video at a fraction of the price of paying someone to do it for me. The editors took all my edits to hard and video turned out great!

We used wedding mix for our wedding. The two camera version. We assigned to outgoing friends to act as videographers for the night and it went great! We just received our 2 minute video and it is awesome. I am currently working on picking scenes for my 20 minute video. The process is pretty easy and user friendly. I am almost done pickings scenes. I can't wait to see the finished product. I would say if you are looking for a way to capture some memories without breaking the bank this is definitely worth it!
