Frustrating but still fun

I am really enjoying playing the app version of Webkinz. It’s fun to have something to do on my phone that isn’t scrolling through social media. Over all it’s a good game, but there are some really frustrating parts. First, why isn’t the mobile app updated to be the same as the desktop? It’s annoying to have to log into both the mobile and desktop apps in one day in order to do everything in Webkinz. It really seems like they should be able to incorporate it all into one. Secondly, the app crashes ALL OF THE TIME. And lastly, this game costs so much money. Like it’s actually ridiculous. Over half of the stuff in the store requires monetary purchase, from your actual wallet. You could spend $8 on one single virtual table or bed. It’s actually ridiculous. I understand they want to make money but I don’t understand why the tokens you purchase are so expensive and why all of the special token items are marked so high. It makes the game frustrating because you are soooo limited if you aren’t going to invest hundreds of dollars in a virtual game. Lastly, for all of the money it appears they’re making, I’m not sure where it’s going. Like I said, the app crashes all the time and isn’t even the full version of Webkinz. But otherwise, it is fun to play if you just resign yourself to not spending money and that you won’t be able to buy or use everything in the game.

The apple store version of webkinz is so dissapointing. I grew up with webkinz and received one as a christmas gift. Immagine my dissapointment when I tried to play and discovered there was no destinations other than your house, the arcade, and the store. DO NOT WAIST YOUR TIME ON THIS APP. YOU WILL BE VERY LET DOWN. I hope theyy fix this issue soon

There are hardly any games on the app; no Eager Beavers, Lunch Letters, Pizza Palace, etc. Just get the computer version.

This app it could be soooo amazing add all the features off PC version or most of them. If it’s too much memory offer it to be purchased separately id definitely buy that I’ve had account for about 15yrs since I first started and I personally believe we didn’t need webkinz next we wanted webkinz classic Perfected and more stuff added more games more ways to get coinz and able to change name of pets and delete rooms and have access to buy even bigger rooms, able to merge rooms would be great, the occasional lag in certain areas of the game to be fixed. It’s a neat app all in all hope to see more added.

Childhood game completely ruined

This is extremely disappointing and honestly it makes me sad. I played Webkinz as a child, I am now 24 and to see how much it has changed is really, really sad. You need to buy estore points for almost everything you used to be able to get simply by playing games to get Kinzcash. I love the huge selection of items such as beds, tables, chairs etc. Everything is gorgeous but I can’t pay 15 dollars for 1600 points for a virtual bed that coasts 9000 of the 1600 points. Honestly I can see they want to make a profit and I support that, but come on, at least make it 50/50? Literally almost EVERYTHING costs points which means you need to spend loads of real cash. Also, I notice as time goes on more and more things become only available to deluxe members, which, ready for it?! You need to pay for. I really love Webkinz, that hasn’t changed, what has changed is their level of greed. It’s mostly what Webkinz used to be and the potential it could so easily have that keeps me coming back hoping for just that. I love the games on desktop, which I think should be introduced to mobile. Where is hungry hog? Wishing well2? What about the curio shop? Vacation island? Come on guys! I want to love this and I would even cash in real bucks, but not when almost everything requires that. I’ll keep coming back to see if any changes are made, but sadly, it’s just disappointing every time. My childhood memory of Webkinz, spending so much time on the site is such a wholesome memory that has honestly been shattered. Please, do better.

I love webkinz but, there isn’t much to do on the app version. The desktop version had way more stuff but on the app version there’s no school, no park, no nothing and it’s really disappointing. I really wanna start playing again but it’s a bit boring with all of this gone. I really hope all of the stuff can be added back soon.

I want to like this soo bad. I’m a life long fan and forever grateful to webkinz for my childhood but are you guys serious? YOU CANT EVEN PLAY THE DESKTOP VERSION ANYMORE and the app says it’s compatible for macbook users, it’s not and not downloadable. No hospital, no kinzville academy, no online versus games (this was actually heartbreaking), not all the games are there, no curio shop or mine, no fairy forest. This is basically just you playing with your house and some of the arcade games. Not to mention, you can’t buy 90% of items because THEY REQUIRE REAL MONEY. like i get it, but you can’t make it more even? I am so disappointed): also, why create a whole other app that is exactly the same? focus on this one and keep this nostalgic legacy alive. If you guys update the game, i will update my review.

my friend has been trying to access her webkinz account for the last 27 years and you have still yet to respond to emails. we email twice a day, every day. once at 6:42 am and the next at 7:23 pm, every single day. the times never change, and the emails are always consistent, just like the lack of response. im befuddled that you would let my friends webkinz die such a cruel and painful death. they are starving and your support is doing nothing about it. think about all of the gems she has missed in the curio shop these past 27 years. im flabbergasted over the lack of support and the contentment with webkinz abuse you have shown these last two decades. i will be contacting my lawyer.

fun and cute, but i wish more could be done on the app, since i don’t always have access to a computer. maybe include the code shop, the ability to add new friends, multiplayer games (like ones from the tournament arena), and more arcade games?
