This is just what I have been looking for. I couldn’t find any free apps that had the features and reliability I wanted, and the other pay apps I’ve looked at were either too specialized or poorly rated.

For $2 an app that is thorough, accurate, and has current information. Graphics are easy to navigate and concise. $2 eliminates the pop-ups and allowed me to eliminate all my other weather apps. Good job!!

I have used all the major weather apps but was never satisfied. Now with this app I am. Fast,accurate, basically all on one page except for the map. Very attractive presentation. Definite 5 stars.

My gosh, after trying several of the top rated weather apps I came to the conclusion that each of them did a couple of things well but were lacking in other areas. This app does all of them extremely well and for a fair price. You will not be disappointed if you purchase the pro version. These developers deserve all the credit in the world.

May be the only 5-Star weather app

This may be the only 5-Star weather app in the App Store. I used Storm for a few years and loved it. When it was killed and replaced with an inferior app I had to go find another one. I looked (and even paid for a few) about 20 apps and couldn’t find what I was looking for. I wanted a radar that had good layering of precipitation (obviously - but not every weather app even has radar!), motion, severe alerts, and the ability to click on the alert and get details. This app has that. I also wanted a simple “home” screen. I found that the “text only” option is 100% what I was looking for. Clean view but the ability to click on items and dig deeper. And that’s where it REALLY shines! The ability to customize the visibility and order of the Weather Parameters was a fantastic surprise. A solid and full featured Apple Watch app was also a requirement. And Weather Mate delivers. The ability to customize every single aspect, from the complication to the “home” screen elements of the app, to the Weather Parameters just like in the iOS app. There are so many possibilities for options that it took me a good couple or three days to settle on my preferences. I am super glad I paid to get the extra features! If there’s anything that could be improved upon, it’s minor. When you click on one of the days at the bottom of the “Text Only” option up pops the hourly! THAT was the kicker, by the way. But I would love to be able to continuously scroll through the hours. And when the 23rd hour goes off the screen to the left, the next day becomes the highlighted one. It gets real awkward late in the evening when I can only see two or three hours and need to click on the next day to see even the next morning (my wake up hour, for instance). It works like that when scrolling through on the Apple Watch. Oh, and on the Apple Watch, maybe you could add an extra line in the hourly scroll with a time stamp of sunrise and again for sunset. So you’d see 6:00 (sunny), 6:34 Sunrise, 7:00 (sunny). Etc. Overall, I wish I could give this 10 stars! Well done!!!!

Finally found a weather app the is everything I was looking for and more. This app is easy to set up for your location(s). The overlays are numerous and they can even be fine tuned. They map “key” is amazing. Full of information on the symbols on the map. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for great weather app.

So far I’ve been very pleased with this app especially spending my first experience in Prescott Valley during Monsoon season. I can watch what cells are approaching me and plan accordingly.
