This app is an ad-laden rip-off with zero functionality unless you upgrade. Must have 100 better alternatives.

I stupidly paid for the year yesterday and canceled it last night. Of course, I didn’t get a refund, just a message that It would be available until next February. Last night this app said it was snowing and would snow overnight. Nope. Today it says Freezing rain. Nope. Supposed to snow for the next few days. Nope. It also uses location service like all my other apps and Weather Channel app and continuously puts me in a wrong location. I have to manually put in where I am. Still, the forecast is the same. Now, I go to the weather channel app and that is the correct location and the correct weather at the moment. What an absolute waste of money.

Wrong weather displays eg. its winter here and it shows summer weather like seriously? Also your current location option doesn’t work.

So far the layout is easy to follow and set up, bright colorful easy to look at. Useful tool to check the day and future forecast. I like all the elements that are included with it.

The weather says it’s 23 degrees and sunny and it’s 23 degrees and cloudy with snow Total not worth the extra cost.

There’s a lot to like about this app—the paid version—like the animated radar map, the extended forecast, and the beautiful backgrounds. But I have three major issues: First, it always sets my location for a nonexistent city, Belleview, TN. I have no idea where it thinks I am. Second, the 14-day temp projection doesn’t match the hour-by hour projection. For example, the daily projection might show a high of 37 on a given day, but the hour-by-hour shows temps reaching 42 on that day. Also, it would help if that long 14-day scroll had the date more obviously attached to each hour; it can be confusing to pinpoint exactly what date you’re looking at. Finally, the third and most serious issue: The app simply isn’t accurate. At this moment, the daily current conditions says my area is experiencing light rain, and the radar map shows medium to hard rain over the entire area. In fact, it is sunny/partly cloudy with no rain in sight. Every other weather app’ radar is completely different from Weather Live’s.
