Created by Monkeybear Press, an indie developer. We are a small team of parents and like to make learning fun, engaging and visually stimulating!
This app includes a handmade aesthetic of paper cutouts that children love and respond to. As parents we believe exposing kids to originals visuals spurs their own creative thinking.
Through interactive play, kids hone their observation skills. Kids learn to compare shapes and begin to learn the observation of 'same' and 'different'.
When moving shapes into their right places, kids learn to sort objects. Sorting and categorizing are important skills for problem-solving and are thus part of kindergartners math curriculum.
Recognizing shapes is the precursor to recognizing letters and thus literacy. When recognizing letters kids must first be able to discern the differences between circles and squares, etc.
Includes thoughtfully chosen music and sound effects. Hand-clapping and cheering reward kids and make them smile. Success is a wonderful motivator!
My little boy loves this app; when he matches the playful paper-cut shapes, they come to life.
Lovely app to help your kids to learn shapes. This app works best with the sound on, as there are cheers for correct answers. HOWEVER it works also well, when the sound feature is turned on mute to keep your restaurant or airplane neighbors happy, as the pictures become animated once the correct solution is found.
I'm so happy to find this app that is beautifully made and actually helps my 20-month-old son learn basic shapes.
My 2 year old really like this one, she enjoys watching the shapes come to life when she finishes the puzzle. She also likes to replay levels... A lot. Good times!
Love the look of the images, original, fun and creative. I want my son to be exposed to more of this type of product. He loves the characters and sound and music. Please produce more!
