My WBAL app is always the first to give me notifications on breaking news. It beats my NBC and CNN apps. I no longer live on the east coast, but I still keep this app because it’s first to give me breaking national news.
Doesn't allow for saving links

Every time you try to save any article to a service such as Pocket using the share sheet, an error occurs: "This app is not providing a link that can be saved". This is very unproductive when you want to save an article to read it later. Other than that very frustrating omission, the notifications on breaking news in the area are timely and relevant. The stories are interesting but I'd much rather use the website since the app is so crippled.
The app is good except for when it can’t share to Facebook

This app is great to keep me up to date on the latest local news, weather and sports. It also keeps me informed of what going on in the Country and the World. I love the notifications that lets me know what is happening.
Not HOH friendly

Not happy with all the videos being posted for news articles. For those of us that are HOH/ Deaf, they are pretty useless. Good subtitles would be great or the option to just read text versions of the videos. I want to know what’s going on too and it’s frustrating when you get an intro line that goes to a video you can’t hear.
Keeps me aware of all the latest events

Hard to watch videos and share stories

Would love to give this app at least 4 stars, but a lot of times when I try to watch a news story, I get a black screen (the video won’t play), and when I share a story, it sends the title of the story instead of the entire story with video, if there is video. Hope there’s continued improvement.

Top story and weather may be up to date but so many stories are days old and more even MONTHS old. It would be wise if there was a proofreader to check this site to delete, at least once-a-week, any news that is not current for a week! This subject is mentioned in many of these reviews yet it remains to be an issue. You ask for reviews but you do not care!!!!!!
