Absolutely Great Nethack/Roguelike sidescroller.

This game is great. (Just make sure you are familiar with the Nethack/Rogue game system before leaving an ignorant review and cursing at Waz. He did an awesome job designing this.)

A bit of a Rant

[][][][][][]

First of all I would like to state that this is one of, if not the best app I've downloaded. Yes, in the beginning it can be cruel and not as rewarding as you like it to be, but that doesn't mean this game isn't good. It disgusts me to see people that give this 1-2 stars because they can't get past 300ft even after paying because they die quickly. This game rewards good decision making and smart play, and even if you're incapable of both of those things, you shouldn't hate the game. 10/10 beat it and will be looking forward to future updates.

I keep dying and keep laughing!

I am a sucker for nethack/rogue games. This one makes me chuckle while playing. Love the fact that I can select different characters (I have purchased the Vandal and the Druid sets) and that they have pets. It is the perfect quick little game (only it is so hard to put down!). I have not yet survived much more past 400 feet,, but it doesn’t matter. Works on both my old iPad2 running IOS 6 and my mini running ios8, yay!

Amazing game

Basically, the perfect game. Last time I reviewed something was about 5 years ago, when I was 10, so it should be obvious how rarely I like a game enough to review it

Good game with a serious bug

Priest22

Because 'Roguelike' games feature permadeath (no saving), any game crashing glitches are monumental as you can lose hours of gameplay with no recourse. Wazhack still has a couple of game crashing bugs that can make you want to throw your iPad across the room, so save yourself the trouble and anger and wait to purchase this one. For a game this brutally unforgiving, nothing less than a 100% crash free is acceptable.

Good,but eh..

I enjoyed this game so much, until I hit where I have to pay..yeah that didn't end well. Honestly, this game has potential to get 5 stars, but the "paying to continue" BS is ruined it. I may buy all the characters, but that's a lot of money. How about making fighter free? That would make people pay.

My favorite game on iOS

Jazifire

Wazhack is by far my favorite game on iOS. I even have it on pc. To be frank, wazhack is a difficult game. I haven't even gotten past 400 ft—yet. But to the people complaining it's too hard; ever heard of Dark Souls?

Fantastic game.

Incredibly well done adaptation/reinterpretation of Nethack. After ascending each type of character, however, I don't find it to have the same replay value of its ancestor. Truth be told, it was getting a little monotonous even before that, but I think/hope this game is in early days, and after spending every dollar I could on it ($8), I believe it to have been a hell of a steal. I'd have easily paid double and still found it a bargain for the enjoyment I received. Well done Waz!

A thinking man's stradgey RPG Game

I think that this is one of the most different and smart games I have played. Very challenging. Unique every time.
