Best app for sailing, and amazing support

Have tried a few of the alternatives, which are all more geared to land sports. Love the simplicity of kicking this off on my watch and the way you can play back what you record. Had an issue and I contacted support and they were great, too. My search for an app for sailing with my Apple Watch is over!

Great companion app when sailing (or pedaling) with the Hobie Tandem Island. Plots your course/speed as sailed via GPS and saves the entry in your diary superimposed on satellite map to replay. With Apple Watch integration, you get instantaneous updates on speed, distance, time sailing right on your wrist at a glance, no phone required. Great support with quick reply. Darn near perfect!

An amazing app that works so well with the Apple Watch. Makes cool sports like wing foiling even cooler with being able to see all the different types of recorded data. A+

However, I wish it was possible to view the tracking map in full screen mode without the additional information on the lower half of the screen, so that you can view it larger I found how to save the map with the information discretely overlaid, but the picture quality of the saved map photo, is poor compared to when you view the map in the app Unlike other paddleboard tracking apps the price is reasonable and I really like that you can use your watch and don’t always have to have your phone with you. For a long day out it saves my phone battery, where other phone only apps drain my battery rapidly

Loving this app on my Apple Watch. I use it for testing foils on my downwind SUP in the Gorge. It’s great knowing my Speed/Distance/Max Speed and heart rate. Thanks for providing a reliable means of accumulating the data!

I kayak and row all the time and until this app nothing in the activity app worked well. The proper recording of my paddling is the best. I Love it. You should get it and subscribe very reasonable cost. Enjoy!
Not user friendly

I am old, yet understand computers and apps on average. One wrong tap on the screen just handling it after 6 hours on the water and the data is gone, gone did I mention gone, no are you sure you want to deleat this -//—/ was an option
Indispensable for sailing: I love Waterspeed

This is a great app for sailing! I use it to review my routes, track my speed and heartrate, and playback the entire itinerary on my iPad. If it weren't for Waterspeed, I'd have to buy a $500 electronic compass for my dinghy. Instead, I pay $3 per month for this app during the sailing season and then pause my subscription over the winter.
