Easy installation. Once you find location to place antennae (you should not have to move it from this location), the app assist in finding a location for the antennae and it will walk you through the rest of the setup process. If you have an outdoor antennae in place, it will allow you to connect it to the device. The ability to record programs is a nice addition. The app is working as well with no major issues. Great idea. Love it!

My original Kickstarter product started great, but, software problems made it unusable. This latest firmware is great. Sensitivity superior to my HD Homerun Extend . HD homerun on roof antenna. WatchAir in window. Receive one more channel On WatchAir. Location-Across lake from Chicago.

I see older reviews where the Watch Air TV doesn’t work so well, but I just purchased it and set it up and it works just amazingly! Great device and software!!

Great idea and ok implementation. Hardware looks very neat, antenna is adequate. 2.4 ghz only for Wi-Fi and no hard wired port is a major limitation. Roku app works ok, but takes long time to open 30+ seconds every time. The app is not available on Fire hd tablet. iPhone app works without delays or problems.

DO NOT BUY THIS. WAIT FOR THE NEXT GENERATION. MAYBE IT WILL GET BETTER. No stars from me. We have had the device for a few months and the constant inability to connect to the device, the constant crashes, and annoying freezing of live TV make it pretty much unusable for me. It is a great idea and I hope it gets better. Maybe they are working on updates. Customer service has been no help. I had already tried all their suggestions and nothing worked. DO NOT BUY THIS. WAIT FOR THE NEXT GENERATION. MAYBE IT WILL GET BETTER.

With the amplified OTA antenna and bundled Ruku App and iPhone App, I turned my dump laser projector into a smart TV power house, not only Netflix etc, but also free OTA HDTV for all the major networks for free (ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, PBS etc) and can use the iPhone app to watch live TV and schedule recording as well. Recommend a few improvement: Fix buffering issue which cause the screen to hang while watch a TV channel Support 1080P and 4K resolution streaming from Antenna module to Roku+ Support recording of TV series such as PDS news and label each recording by date. Currently once you record two or three of the same shows such as PBS news for different dates, it all shows the same icon/thumbnail

Don’t waste your money. The idea is a good one but find another vendor. It almost never works and when it does it’s slow as molasses. Submitted a support ticket weeks ago and they never responded. Total waste of money.

When we got the antenna, it worked very well, but lately, reception is very choppy, when it does work. Just tried to watch local news & got more video (still frames) than audio, and was unable to follow any of the pieces. Don’t know whether we need to do update or not, but very frustrated ow.
