How can I trust this app if the streets are wrong? Hmmmm?

Not very useful

Not very useful. Not worth the money. Difficult interface to use on the go. Poor list of restaurants and hotels. Augmented reality not very accurate.

Helped me organize my trip!

This app will help you plan your days in D. C. depending how long your stay and your preferences. Very useful in showing the best attractions and the times needed to get from one place to another. Very customizable and user friendly.

This app is only good if you know how to get around DC already, but if you dont you will be wandering around lost for hours! The navigation does not update when you move, it just gives you a needle that points in the direction you are traveling.. I tried to link locations together with the metro rail as my method of travel, the app had me walk farther to a metro station that was farther away than just walking to the destination. The guide feature was ok, but NOT worth $6 bucks..

Has some advantages and some limitations

I just completed a week in DC and used this app to assist me in setting up my itinerary. Due to it's limitations, I only used the info from this app to populate a spreadsheet. First off the area this app covers didn't include my hotel as I stayed in Landover. You can add a new place but it does little good if it's outside the map area since it can't compute the distance. The itinerary would probably work fine if you are staying in a hotel in the downtown area and are walking everywhere. This app is really great for determining walking times from place to place. I used the Metro exclusively and the app is great for determining which metro stop is nearby to specific attractions. I used another app called findametro to get specific details about getting from one metro stop to another and it was excellent. If you are going to be there for 5 days or more and will be using the metro extensively, then buy the weekly pass for $47. Ride as much as you want. The Itinerary section of the app didn't work for me. First off, I pretty much set up my itinerary for the first 3 days before I left but when I arrived in DC, I found the itineray had added all kinds of other attractions. Now this could have been caused by me but I don't know how. The biggest problem for me was I could only add a specific metro stop once in a given day. I wanted to start my itinerary at a specific metro stop and return at the end of the day to that same stop but couldn't do it. That's why I used the spreadsheet instead.

Terrible! Waste of Money - Don't buy this.

My major downtown hotel wasn't listed, nor were two major restaurants we ate at and one major attraction we visited in a 3 day trip! You can 'add' places to the app, but have to place them on the map yourself which was difficult to figure out and way too time consuming. Since much of my trip wasn't in the app, it was not helpful for calculating distances. Was a waste of money - I used my Nav program and free DC maps a whole lot more.

Great!
