Just like the old game

If you liked battleship then this app is for you. It feels just like playing the old game on a new medium. With that said there aren't any new or amazing addition, no phenomenal graphics or special effects, but I don't think this game needs it. The simple design and ease of use is what really preserves the old school feel, even on this new tech. Definitely worth the DL, especially at the great price of free!

I say in my opinion this is unfair app.I was playing recently and the computer got to change the boat like they got to put it side to side instead of up and down , idk if I just don't now how to change it or this is a unfair appplease fixthank you for ur time.

It's battleship! Normal is what you expect, for those that complain about cheating, clearly didn't read! On hard, if the computer finds a ship, it's toast! No guessing, it's gone... God mode, 34 shots to win, so it knows where you are people! You have 34 shots to win... Game works just as described... Fun to pass the time, thanks for making it free

The normal version of the game is fun- but the game definitely cheats in the Hard Mode. It will not only take out your ship once it finds it (no missed shots for it to find out which direction your ship is placed) - but it KNOWS where your ships are, while you are playing blindly. For example- it took out 3 of my ships on it's FIRST move without a single missed shot! You can't tell me that that isn't cheating!!! I still play that mode for the challenge of beating a cheater- but I wish they would fix it so that the computer would play smarter to be more challenging without knowing where all my ships are! It's still a good game though.
Game cheats on Hard mode

I figured Hard mode would use a good algorithm. It doesn't cheat when guessing, but as soon as it guess right (with one missile hit) it takes down the rest of that ship without any wrong guesses. Pretty uncool. God mode seems to just give you n number of chances before it wipes out your whole fleet. Not sure what n=, 20? 30? Was expecting different behavior on hard. Also there's no option that I can find to turn off sound effects, so I always have to remember to turn the sound down when I launch it. Could be a bit more refined...
