Warlands is a turn-based strategy game where your goal is to destroy your enemies and take over the map.
You can play up to 7 other people or computers, either on the same device or over the internet.
You are able to place two different types of units (one that is better at attacking, and one that is better at defending), and there are six different types of territory: plains, impassable mountains, treacherous water, defensive towers, cunning forests, and unit production centers.
The base (free!) game comes with three styles of maps in three sizes each.

It doesn’t seem anyone’s really playing this game to find an opponent, and the AI is not very hard. It’s lots of fun but not much challenge to anyone experienced with abstract strategy games. It’s frustrating that it has such solid gameplay but nobody is playing it. What game are people playing instead?

Looks are deceiving. an AMAZING game that has all different levels of difficulty. Also you can apply your learning and challenge up to seven enemies in your conquest to control the virtual world.

I love this game. Kind of like Risk but simpler. Good maps, challenging, it's the one game I have that I've not gotten tired of playing yet.
