Great app

MarkyofBallard

This app made by tinker house games is great. It is large about 100 mb. A large app but know more then most games. A lot of new feature over the previous warroom app. Being that it just launched yesterday there are a few issues but not many compare to most app after launch. Tinker house is always quick to fix the issues. It have all you need for your MK III goodness.

Rushed out the door

Sidneymcdanger

My guess is the MK3 release came way too fast for the developer. Creating a new account throws a JSON error, and the main options screen has badly formatted placeholder text. That's as far as I got before I preordered a physical deck.

The old version was much better

Won't even run just says downloading PDF and then crashes.

Constant crashing

Spacemann3000

This app stays crashing at the downloading PDFs file section, great way to start Mk3

Excellent support piece!

It's bigger than I'd like, but I hear that may be changing in a coming update. It runs perfectly on my iPhone and iPad. No issues running games on either. Some bugs still need to be smashed but Tinkerhouse is on it.

Better, but still needs a lot of work

mathieut

Compared to the original War Room, this is leaps and bounds better. Not that it really means anything given how poor it was, but it's still worth noting. On the plus side, the fonts and images aren't badly pixelated any longer (which really was pathetic on an app that was still current as of a week ago...), navigation is finally smooth on a 6Splus, and loading times aren't mind bogglingly long any longer. Oh and their servers didn't crash at launch... You'd never expect any of these things to be a problem on a glorified image viewer, but they were until this new version. It's like when little Timmy finally went potty by himself, to the rest of the world it is nothing, but it's a huge step for little Timmy. On the minus side the pdf viewer is incredibly slow (yes, still on a 6Splus...), whether to navigate it, zoom, or use the search function; swiping on a card occasionally doesn't work and/or is misinterpreted as a tap to open the lexicon; the interface is far from intuitive, you shouldn't have to go through a sequence of 6 taps (couldn't do in less) to just get to the one card you wanna see; and a brief look at the forums show a number of other bugs I have yet to experience. They have almost 4 years worth of feedback for the original War Room, and this new version has been in beta for almost 8 months. Given that there's nothing even remotely complex about what this app does and you have to spend a minimum of $7 to be able to do anything with it, it should be in a much better shape than it currently is.

Really?!

Marksman32

I load up the app the first time and it crashes before I can even get into any of the menus. They fixed that in this update and I can't even log into my account, and to top off, the link that support sends me doesn't even work. Rushed and poorly executed, wait about four months to get if you really want this app.

Great app for Warmachine / Hordes

Deasmonius

Tinker house games has done a great job on this updated app for release of the new mark 3 Warmachine / Hordes release. I was a regular user for the original war room that got off to a rocky start. This one is much better with its expensive UI and new features, like the collection manager and the new online play. There where a couple bugs but Tinker House has been super responsive and gotten most issues fixed before any really caught on it was an issue.

Bringin' Back the Chub!

Gubbagubba

So I think to myself, if I am going to buy army cards all over again the this better be one f'ing awesome update. I had a serious chub for the original War Room. The initial release of 2 would not even work on my old iPad but since the most recent patch things are looking good. I particularly like being able to filter lists based on models I own or have painted. Being able to immediately inform the code minions of bugs is solid. Keep updating please for more stars and money!

A worthy successor!

FreeMeowson

War Room's first edition left something to be desired, though I never really suffered for it. The old version served me just fine. War Room II is everything I liked about the War Room I knew and loved, but with MORE! :D I seriously don't even know what people have to complain about any more. Everything desired of WR1, including every feature of iBodger, is now baked into WR2. I look forward to all the auto-updates and erratas with 0-effort. :3
