They DEVs used to try hard to balance old robots and weapons with new additions. They don’t do that anymore. For long-term non-paying players old mechs and weapons just can’t compete with newer mechs and weapons. *All* new mechs have special abilities, old ones don’t. If you’re a new player, you will probably have a blast! Go for it! It’s fun! But the idea of scraping the bots I’ve built up over two years to start new ones... not worth it. Hopefully someday the DEVs will try to balance old bots so they can compete with the new bots... or hopefully new players will keep joining and paying to balance out the old players who are too discouraged to continue. Either way, I wish the DEVs well :) I had a great time for a couple years and I’m sad to stop :( but just getting wiped out by newer & better mechs and weapons constantly... well... not worth it

This is the only robot fighting game that’s worth playing. I was so happy to have come across it. ( Walking War Robots) back then. My game name is Watercheese if any battles me. I know they’re working on cross platform game play, and it’s been successful so far, BUT they do need to finish it. There’s a lot of people I know I’m waiting to challenge and vice versa. The only other thing I’m waiting for is the return of the other maps. Those are my only two negatives. Other than that this game is so much fun, gets your adrenaline going! Graphics are fantastic!

Even if you don’t spend actual cash, it takes a lot of time to level up a robot enough for them to be fun and competitive. If you do spend cash, it’s even worse. Pixonic ‘balances’ from time to time, which usually means that the robots you spend time/$/both on are suddenly worse, in what they claim is an attempt to diversify play styles or some other nonsense when the reward system encourages exactly the types of play they claim to discourage. Fun game, watch your wallet.
