I like this game because I can play it a couple of times a day and still make progress. I don't like games where you have to stay on all day. It's fun. I'm enjoying it so far. Playing for years now. Still fun. Find a good alliance.

Obviously, WoT is another one of those games where the players who are able & willing to spend money succeed the most. Those (like me) who can't afford to buy their way to victory, must work towards being strong supporting figures within the alliances they join. Some game set ups allow the players who are not big spenders to get as much out of their involvement as possible, but WoT is not one of them. Although WoT proceeds like other MMOG's early on, on each world within the game you reach the point where dragons become available. Dragons cost a lot of gems to buy & gems cost $$. Yeah, WoT lets you get gems for free, in small amounts - and if you don't spend any of those gems in the weeks leading up to the dragons, you MIGHT have enough to buy one. But unless other, more experienced players let you know this, you won't be hanging onto the gems. (That's another big flaw in WoT: the rules information that players can access is VERY limited.) If you cannot get a dragon, the game is, essentially, over for you. Dragons greatly increase the power of players' armies and allow the training of special troops to attack with them. Also, most of the game events begin to offer rewards that are only usable by the players who have dragons. At this point, players without dragons become nothing more than targets.

I have played many similar games to this one. I like it so far. Time will tell if I continue to like it. Guess depends on what goes on with the dragons. My server is to new and we don't have them the dragons yet. Have the dragons now. Pretty cool. But the GM's are greedy and lazy. Everything they do seems to be based on making money and when I bought gems I didn't get them. Sent in report and they want me to do all the work to prove I bought them when they should be looking at their records and giving them to me.

New and average size players just can't compete in most events. Developers need to have some events geared toward the small guys. Also needs to have directed development by the player not random results on crystals. My comments have not been addressed by the developers.. Big cash players rule. Also no way for no cash players to get some dragons. Gem packs are different for some players so even if I wanted to buy some items are not made available.
