This started out as a awesome game. The Developers have really screwed things up. They have now set up the game to penalize those players who play at a high level. For those that have worked hard as a alliance and earned Gold from participation in the game, this has been removed to force you to spend even more money, for even the most basic things. I spent quite a bit of money to build my Fort and was a member of a prominent alliance and received a lot of Gold. Then one day with no warning a new update eliminated all that. Smh. I am going to have to quit.

Don’t watch videos to speed up upgrades or builds. It doesn’t speed anything up. Pretty crappy game.

No Conflicts of Interest
The developers have made this a pay to play. Very glitchy. Used to be a great game but the game keeps having errors (always against the players) I get the impression the developers are intentionally destroying the game play so everyone will quit and they can take their money and go home. I'm moving on much like many others. Can't compete unless you spend hundreds.
