Wally does exactly what I wanted it to do

I was looking for a ledger like app to track various spending buckets and Wally allows me to do just that. It's easy to use and quick to add in new purchases. Also the reporting page is clear and simple.

It does what it says without annoying ads like other apps. It could be a bit more streamlined to require less button pushing. But handy tool overall.

Needed an ap for tracking spending as I prepare to see retirement in 6 yrs. my financial planner told me to track every expense vfor a month. Wally is easy to use and I like that i can go back and make changes by day. It's fast and I love no ads!

First a quote from the developer during an interview: "It's just about being able to communicate with the customer...making sure they understand that they can trust you." So I downloaded this to see if it fit my needs It does not fit my needs. Also the app asks for you to provide an email before you start using it. At the same time it PROMISED to not SPAM my email or provide it to others. Well the next morning I get this from a Saeid Hejazi: "Hey, sorry to bother you but you downloaded the old app. Try the new Wally. If you want Power Add-Ons (currency converter, joint accounts syncing, exporting, foreign accounts, or more) we have a Welcome Special for the next 60 minutes. Get all Add-Ons for 60% off. Pay just USD 14.99." Sorry but I consider this SPAM (unsolicited email) and is the only reason for the low review rating. I then replied back to Wally asking why not just not keep the app updated on iTunes and why PS me for an additional $14.99 Wally replied: "1. Congratulations and thanks for the tip. 2. No. and your question was both rude and shocking. I can't imagine any one wanting your email. for commercial or personal reasons. your question ignores (was it hypothetical?) the most basic principles of supply and demand. Good riddance, Team Wally Common Sense Department" That reply really makes me want to trust Wally with my financial needs!!! NOT!!!

This is a well developed app that does what it says it does. I have been particularly impressed with its ability to keep track of not only the expenses made but where they were made. Would've given a five but I'll leave the last star for its developers to surprise me some more ?

Program creator removed method to export data at last FORCED update. Over 1.5 years of Data is INACCESSIBLE! Apple should step in here and find out why this program creator is vindictively sabotaging good-faith users if app. This is not a good developer if they REMOVE features with a forced UPDATE and do NOT tell people the update will cripple the app!!!!
