As you complete your goals, Walkadoo will challenge you to walk a little more. Miss a goal, and Walkadoo will adjust. Finally, a realistic way to move more!

Stopped working.
astroNinja9

App has not picked up any steps for the last 5 days from phone or Fitbit One. I tried syncing the phone and Fitbit manually. App says it got the sync but no steps were recorded. Frustrating. Ready to delete it. Update: I contacted Fitbit and they helped me figure out how to record steps with this app. Works fine now. I still don’t have consistent steps with the iPhone but I think it is too big in my pocket. I am rating this app 4 stars for the rocky start

Seeing your progress more than a week
Fujimoo

I thought at one point I was able to see more than 7 cards and if I met my card goal. I can’t find that anymore.

Where are the features?
stuphunuu

Like the others, I’m of the mindset that this is a great idea but needs more features in the app itself. I can’t even see how many points I have through the app, which just makes card collecting feel pointless. I have people added as friends, but can’t view their profile or see their progress. It’s really just a step counter at this point, which I already have through my Fitbit app and MyFitnessPal. Going to keep this installed for now but will delete in the future if it doesn’t prove to have some usefulness soon.

Useless
S&J312

After downloading this app and trying to create a profile, it gets frozen or locked in the screen where it’s asking to set privacy settings. Developers need to put more work into it.

Stuck
ccgs878

Application seems to be stuck in a loop with not allowing the application to connect to health kit, making the app inoperable.

What the heck is this for? Data collection.

I downloaded this because my health insurance offered me cash back if I could reach a certain number of "points" in a given time frame. This app adds no value beyond the step tracker that it pulls it's data from, in my case my iPhone. It simply reports back the steps my iPhone has tracked an assigns an arbitrary "score" to it. How are the points assigned? What value do they serve within the app? You can't even look at your total "points" anywhere. The social aspect to this app is a joke. There is no find friends feature. There is no ranking. I believe that either the creators of this app have given up, or something more sinister: that this app was built to collect data, and the developers did the bare minimum to make it appear legit. Unless updates are made to actually make this app worthy of the pixels on display then I contend the latter.

Update broke the app
Zmimmer

Recent update claims it needs reauthorization to track steps, but if I try to press “Keep Tracking Steps” it goes away for a split second then the same screen asking me to “keep tracking steps” comes right back up. The app has these permissions, I checked in settings. Please fix this bug!

Can’t see step total
Grappl88

App says it’s syncing steps but I can’t find my steps anywhere.

Very Helpful
RSBAnglican

A great motivator—especially when paired with a better pedometer. I love how it adjusts to your activity level and pushes you onwards. The derbies are fun and helpful to stay motivated. What had caused a three star rating is the difference between the web interface and the app. There are so many things you can only do on the web, or are so cumbersome on the app as to be nearly impossible. If the developers would work to make the app as good as the web version, this would be great!

Too slow
onlybecauseyouasked

The app worked and was fun for the first couple of days, but now it’s annoying. Even though it’s connected to a fitbit for steps and the fitbit is syncing fine, and I open the fitbit dashboard at their web sight, walkadoo still takes 3 hours or more to sync my steps to the walkadoo web-sight, then even longer for the app to sync. It’s just time consuming and annoying to have to go through all these hoops just to use a silly app correctly. It’s a shame because I really like the concept, hopefully there’ll be an update to correct the syncing and bugginess of the app soon, as is it’s just not worth the time it takes to use it.
