If the alarm doesn't sound or is too soft, make sure your device isn't muted or turn up the Volume.

You can shake the device in ANY direction to turn off the alarm.

-1st Generation iPod Touch requires headphones or external speaker to hear alarm.

Nice Alarm Clock App for the iPhone

This app offers a quick way to set and use the iPhone to use as an Alarm Clock. It offers 6 choices of clock/color type and 5 different alarm sounds: Beep, Bell, Ocean, Nature and Morse Code. It also offers a delay-settable snooze alarm. When the alarm sounds you shake the iPhone to quiet it or tap the snooze button. One problem that prevents me giving a much higher rating is access to the setting screen is a bit troublesome. To acess the settings you tap the " i " button. However, it always takes me several tries to get the tap-timing right. Also I would like to see a few more choices for alarm sounds. Unfortuately, unlike the built-in clock app, this app requires the iPhone stay unlocked and awake for the alarm to sound. So you may want to keep your phone plugged in.

This is great and a truly novel idea that really stands out from all of the other alarm clocks. It does have the same iPhone constraints as the others where the app must be running for the alarm to go off. I love the dimmer feature, as I can put this at my bedside with out it lighting up the whole room. When that alarm goes off, shaking it really gets you up! I"ll never be late again!

This alarm app is not as good as the basic alarm that comes with the phone - the alarm does not sound when the phone is "asleep". Who is going to keep their phone on all night while they sleep?

ok I have trouble sleeping and waking up so I use this to wake up and white noise app to go to sleep and my problen is i go to sleep with white noise and i cant open up this app because im a sleep so can you make a update that this app pops up when you are on another app or if ipod is asleep
