I love scrolling through the news articles and the ease of choosing news categories! Next time you update, please consider a way to let users see their local area news. I live on Sand Mountain and miss having the option to see what's happening here. Searching "Sand Mountain" didn't give what I was looking for but typing in individual cities did. I don't have time to do that. Overall, though, I love what you've done.
Repetitive full screen ad = bad

There is one repetitive full screen ad that appears constantly. Stop a leak in a creek. Really annoying. Especially when there's something crazy going on in the news or weather and it delays you from getting the information you need. Stop full screen ads. Let us use the app first thing when we open it. Use other banner style ads that don't keep you from reading the news.

Starting to get annoying

There are way to many ads that pop up at the weirdest times. I understand having one here and there but it’s annoying. The news takes a while to update. I’m still showing stories from mid February in some of the sections. I’m sure more has happen since then.

For days I have noticed difficulty accessing news. The link ‘update the app’ pops up so I updated the app. No difference. 75% of what I see is “UPDATE THE APP”. The news reports are buried in ads. I don’t need this.

I agree with other reviewer concerning latest update. Way too much advertising and sports section is horrible. Same sports articles become stale when left on site for weeks. Surely the sports world is a tad more active! I will delete also.
New Format

I like the prior format better than the recent change. Too much non-news and have to scroll too much to choose news stories you want to read. Would prefer a couple of pages listing all news stories. 15 second ads before news videos usually means that I go to another news source for stories. You do a good job updating and giving up-to-date news it’s just too hard to see an overview of all the news.
