The app calculates the users distance to all of the attractions in the park, and sorts them from closest to furthest so the user knows exactly what is around.

This allows the user to triangulate their distance and make better decisions.

Each attraction also has a detailed description, a live map that will take the user to the location, as well as a virtual simulation that shows the user exactly what the ride in particular is like.

About Six Flags Magic Mountain:

Six Flags Magic Mountain is a 262-acre (106 ha) theme park located in the Valencia neighborhood of Santa Clarita, California, north of Los Angeles. It opened on May 30, 1971, as Magic Mountain, a development of the Newhall Land and Farming Company. In 1979, Six Flags purchased the park and added the name "Six Flags" to the park's title.

With 19 roller coasters, Six Flags Magic Mountain holds the world record for most roller coasters in an amusement park. In 2015, the park had an estimated 3.1 million visitors.

Many of their Roller Coasters appear on best of lists and have set new standards for thrills in the industry.

This was a bit of a disappointment. At first I thought it would be a real virtual tour of the ride, but it’s just a somewhat close up picture of the ride through the Google Maps app. I also don’t need directions from Google Maps to a ride. It doesn’t work. Waste of money unless it’s your first time to Magic Mountain...
