"Lots of ways to play. Great casual word game to unwind with."
Voyage of the Starship Lexicon is a word game for word lovers. Finally, a game where you can concentrate on building the greatest words without worrying about playing the board or waiting on another player. Rotate the letters to make words in the center row and then tour the solar system to change the game feel with different letter distributions, powerups, special tiles, crossword-style puzzle challenges, and more. Unlock and play on all the levels for variety or find the gameplay you like the most and visit its level again and again.
SS Lexicon is the debut game from Caper Academy. We set out to make a word game where players could focus on the intrinsic joy and wordy thrill that comes from building a great word instead of being compelled to play a lesser word because of the board status or because a timer is ticking down. Word lovers, hop aboard!
I love word games, and this one is a little different. It's a no-pressure build-a-word game that can be picked up and put down at any time. Like word games? Have some time to fill? Take a voyage on the Starship Lexicon!
but I'm glad I gave this word game a chance. Fun to play and novel game play.
Unique interface - takes a moment to wrap your mind around, but once you get it it's awesome. Neat idea.
You don't even have to like space to enjoy this. It's like the games we played as a kid with the tiles you move around on the little plastic board (remember? Where only one spot was open?) but way, way, way better.
Great casual word game to unwind with. It's fun to jump from one play style to the next, but you can spend a lot of time in one level, too. It's also flexible with difficulty levels. You can play through a lot of levels quickly or focus on forming the high scoring words.
A unique twist on word games. Beware - once you start playing it is difficult to put down!
The basic premise took me a minute to figure out, but once I did, this game really took off (no pun intended)! I like that there are multiple styles of games, it keeps the game fresh!
