The reason I was so motivated to purchase the VolcaSample, in the first place ,was that I assumed it would do what this app does for it .?.... ? I'm using an iRig2 currently & This app does work ! It's greatness has been evolving ,So you should get it if you have the VSample to fund this cat he'd be motivated to add Midi Input so we VolacaSamplingers' can/will eventually plug in a Keyboard like we anticipated ,hopefully !!! .?

I haven't been able to make this app (or the Keys IAP) do anything functional yet. The interface for the app is very primitive, and you can only access the non-Sample controllers through the IAP menu, which seems like lazy programming. Moreover, the Keys controller didn't seem to work, whereas any other MIDI app controlled the Keys just fine. You could argue that this app unlocks "hidden features" of the Volcas, but those features are also tied to MIDI CC controls, and can be manipulated with other apps. Will continue to check back in to see if there's been progress, but this app is a sunk cost so far, and purchasing all the IAP's would be over $10.

EDIT: Apparently the portamento control is called "slice". Not very intuitive, but hey, it does what I needed it to so I'm bumping my rating up to 5 stars. In case the developers read this, PLEASE ADD PORTAMENTO CONTROL FOR THE BASS. I can see from the photos that this feature already exists in the Keys editor, so it seems like it should be easy to implement for the bass.
