I expected it to play back on its own, have had it four days and haven't heard a single playback, with my iPhone on, volume turned up and always with or near me. I have to open the app and manually play them back. Hmmmm... How is this helping me???

I'm always thinking of things and I don't always have a pen in hand and this is great! I never forget my thoughts with this app. I have visions and crazy dreams and I stopped writing them all down, not any more thanks to this. I highly recommend everyone to get as this app. It has many different things you can do with it. It's ("Awesome"!)

Is the quality dictation app but the fact that you can't go backwards or forwards in the recording in have to start it over seems like an obvious oversight

Great app! Other alerts slide across the screen and your reminder is gone and forgotten. Just set this alert frequency and type and it keeps repeating your chosen alert. I set mine to a ring tone and choose "Nag Me."

Lacking, but it's the best we've got

The good: it automatically plays a voice reminder at the time you assign. The bad: the problem is, it's not *your* voice. If you want something to play automatically, you have to choose from their prerecorded list of reminders ("time to take your medicine"). Yes, you can record your own voice as well, but be aware you have to slide the app open in order to ever hear it.
