Press "start" and the Voice-O-Meter will immediately begin measuring the volume of your voice. Practice keeping the volume of your voice "just right" so that the blue arrow stays within the green space on the meter. You can adjust the range of decibels included in the target range to account for background noise too! If you'd like, you can keep data on your attempts to speak at your target volume. Voice-O-Meter will provide you with the option to email the data to yourself when you end your session.

More incremental dB goals please!

Im a Speech-Language Pathologist and this would be a 5 star program if you could adjust dB goals more incrementally by 1 such as a goal range between 66-72 range. dB range of increments of 10 really limits this program. This would make it more customizable for patients and have more flexibility with goals. I will give ya five if you can make that change! Thank you in advance :)

Although I've been using this app for some time, my speech therapist wants me to adjust the dB levels. I am running the app on an iPhone 6, she, an iPhone 5. She can adjust dB levels, I cannot. I've tried rebooting my phone, and deleting & re-installing app. But nothing works. Without this capability this app is useless.

I used to use this app with children in therapy but now that I switched to iPhone 6 it does not allow me to change the sound setting. Keeps freezing. Please update

No longer able to adjust range of sound from quietest 60db to loudest 80db. Get a blank screen and must restart app. Basically it crashes. Waste of .99 cents.

I just purchased this app and it freezes each time I attempt to change the decibels in settings! Not working, please fix!!!
App Won't Adjust

I am a speech-language pathologist and downloaded this app for a student who has a difficult time monitoring his volume. I am giving this app only one star because I'm unable to adjust the db levels. Every time I try the app freezes!! It seems like a lot of people have had this same problem and the app developers do not seem to be fixing this. I would not download this app if I were you!!
