In my experience it’s easy to use, holds well and doesn’t crash. I am using the free app but over the years I haven’t found a need to upgrade or change. It’s so great to find a reliable app! Thanks guys.

I use voice notes to record ideas and drafts for my songs until I can sit down and add music to them.
Not that great for what I want.

I downloaded this app to record reflections, like an audio diary. My main problem is that you need to do a whole segment in one take. For example: I started recording and my child interrupted me. That segment is ruined. Now instead of having the option to delete the audio, I have to delete everything. When I say everything, I am talking about all the organizational options that you made with the recording. I have to re-input the title, tags, photos, and notes every time when redoing a segment. They did have a trim feature, but I could not get it to work. With no explanation on how it works, I tried all possibilities and couldn’t trim any part of it despite hitting save and discard on separate occasions. I’m sure this works perfectly for the people who want to do it all in one take, but for double the price of similar apps I think I will stay away.
