App is good. Easy to use. But some definition and examples are terrible. It seems like they are forcefully fixed in the sentence and made it complex. Can be better if its fixed but I highly doubt that they will be able to fix it.

Not studying specifically for any test, just a student looking to better their vocabulary, in speech and in writing. This app does just that. Simple, memorable definitions and examples of words. Also, I really like the opportunity to challenge other users. There is also a pronunciation feature, but often gives an "error." Please fix in next update. Otherwise, a sheer must-have for progressive literaries. ?

I’m going back to college to get my MBA and because of my work experience I do not need to take the GRE but felt I should work on expanding my vocabulary. I purchased a couple books from Barnes & Noble. The one I preferred was the Kaplan GRE prep book. With that I also received access to their app for the vocabulary building. I prefer this app more than the Kaplan app and so far is free. This app starts with the simpler words so that you can build up your vocabulary to the more difficult ones. Unfortunately, the Kaplan app does not. I will probably return to the Kaplan app after I’ve gone through all of the levels on this app. Additionally, I have found that the definitions are the same between the Kaplan app and this app.

Before revealing the meaning of any word, it would be better if the example sentence appeared first, so that we can guess the unknown word first by contextual meaning and after that we can see the meaning of the word! This app is the best app for GRE vocabulary. Cheers!

I began using this app while I was pregnant and feeling beyond stupid. I couldn’t put a sentence together and I lost my knack for vocabulary. I use this app to maintain my articulation and also to improve it. I am so exhausted as a mom that this is my only savior in returning to my former self.
