I was wanting to learn how to pronounce some French words I searched up, so I bought this app. In the pictures it showed a search button in it, unfortunately when it downloaded I found out there was no search button! I looked at everything hoping there was some sort of setting but there wasn't any, so now you just look at random words... Not worth $2.99!
Great, useful concept - a few nagging bugs that don't inhibit use

The concept is wonderful with a straightforward interface - exactly what I was looking for. A few things that make this 4 rather than 5 stars: -- repeatedly pressing vocalization results in a message to fix some things, an option to suppress this message would be great, sometimes I just want to hear the word several times. -- first time thru quiz, score is always 61 and then many times ejected from app after pressing continue. Sometimes after pressing continue quiz continues ... Not sure why -- when quiz favorites is selected, there are very few times that all words are quizzed. To overcome this, I keep going back into app after being ejected. NONE of the comments above keep me from using the app, so thanks for providing it!! If there is time to fix the anomalies it would be grand. Thank you!!!

I was a big fan of this app and used it every day. After the election every single day there is a word on the main page that is just a shot a Donald Trump. I do not like trump but I also don't like shoving personal political views random places. Hopefully this will die down the further we get from the election

Unless you want crappy political urban dictionary terms that fit their political agenda, do not buy. Waste of a dollar.

After several warnings that Apple says the app will not work with future updates (after iOS 10) it stops working! Yes, it does not work on iOS 11!!!

Does not work with IOS 11. Was a great app but now no longer works. Sadly I will be deleting it.

This app hasn't been updated in years - it needs compatibility with iOS 11 because it currently doesn't work with it.
