The best of the litter

HCSfl

I have tried most of the VNC products all are ok but most are slow or are missing something..This product does it all for a very reasonable price..Best by far of anything I have tried to date irrespective of price

Slow

caremore

Slow, slow, no matter what, like all others, but keep connected not like iteleport always lost connection, but hard to control dock. Worst, itap, still can't be connected. None of them wake up computer via 3G . Succeeded with online website, easy. Check google. Tech support not responding.

Wasted $$$

PatLouPS

Doesn't even deserve a rating! I wish there was return policy in the app store I could use my 8 bucks back for this app... The coolest thing is the 3d interface other than that it's slow and jerky rendering, inconsistent pointer control. Urgggh! Don't waste your $$$... RealVNC is so much better, a few dollars more but way way better.

VNC keyboard is not great

app_freak

The explanation of the various double/triple/two finger taps is fine, but a number of functions could be improved. If they are, I will immediately adapt my rating, because technically the VNC connection works fine. 1. It would be great if a native resolution desktop (1024x768) could be displayed without any zoom. The pinch zoom is useful in a lot of cases, but I could not get the display to exactly match the native resolution. 2. The EXT keyboard features all extra keys necessary, but it looks extremely ugly (ported from the iPhone while the art guy wasn't available?) and the keys are pretty hard to find with all the FN/Abc/123 combinations. The native keyboard extended with a number of keys at the top (maybe in a UIScrollView or switched in groups to accommodate more keys) would probably work much better. 3. Using the external bluetooth keyboard does not work great at all. Cursor keys, among others, cannot be used. Typing in a terminal window is a pain like this.

Dumb 3D cubes, bad interface, AMX support missing?

ironiridis

I bought this app for its purported AMX compatibility. Suffice it to say, I couldn't connect to my touchpanel with this app no matter what combination of settings I tried. The interface on this is awful. Really awful. The fact that you need 40 pages of "help" that you can't skip really proves how difficult this app is to use, and the developer knows it. The gestures are twitchy and nearly useless. Why would I want to shrink my Mac's desktop to 10% of my iPad's screen? Dumb. Let's talk about the settings page. The password field is required even if your server HAS NO PASSWORD. There is a mountain of options that are irrelevant to 90% of users and should be hidden in a submenu. You can't enable the "auto connect" option unless you have "save password" enabled, and the aforementioned required password makes this completely unintuitive. Has anyone ever actually tried to use this app before they started charging for it? I only give this app 2 stars because it still kind of works. But there are better apps out there for connecting to your Mac, and if you're looking for a VNC app to connect to your AMX Modero panel, look elsewhere. This app won't.

works for me

leggwork work

this app works great for remoting into my linux desktop. You can put a # in for the password field if your host doesn't have a password set. The 3d cubes interface does seem pointless, but i'm only connecting to a few hosts.

AMX missing

BT908

The latest version lacks any credible connection capability to my AMX touch panel. Very disappointing.

Love it

Works very well, worth it

Not worth the money

Good idea, but App is very slow to a point where it is useless. I would not recommend at this point.
