As noted in other reviews I have issues with many basic functions. Additionally, I can not drag and select text in certain applications (Word, Outlook, etc.) which is extremely annoying. Also recently I have had an issue when I log n that all my icons and windows are zoomed in making them extremely large. The session needs to time out and then I have to log back in to fix it. All in all not an efficient way to access my desktop.

Support added. Thanks very much. It seems to be working well for me. To users: Turn off “Windows Native Touch Gestures” in Settings or you may not be able to see the pointer.

Finally. If only in presenter mode it had the Bluetooth mouse pointer on the external screen I hook up, it would be nearly perfect. True perfection would be having the iPad and the external screen operate as a multi monitor single desktop!

Release notes say external mouse support was added, my iPad trackpad is not working.

UPDATE: Mouse support is finally here, SfB is working fine(wish optimized mode worked on iOS), and the letting boxing has gone away. This app has a lot of potential. It would be great if the developers would adopt the new trackpad/mouse API’s. Also this app has many flaws like when connecting to an external display with presentation mode on it will still give letter boxing. Also if using Bluetooth in SfB the audio breaks up so bad that it is unusable. Really hope VMware can get it together

Needs better explanation for how to enable use of mouse controls in the new update.

Native mouse support is working as expected in 8.0.5 after disabling the windows gestures in settings.

Apparently, the latest update adds external mouse support, but as far as I can tell, it just makes it so you can’t tell where your mouse is anymore. It already wasn’t the best to use an external mouse, but now it is impossible to do at all. I suppose this is some arbitrary effort to push the $150 SwiftKey mouse ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

Still doesn’t support the new trackpad/mouse with iPadOS 14. This is very important functionality for WFH experience. If they fix the trackpad/mouse then this app would easily get 5 stars!

Trackpad now works but copy and paste is still a nightmare and the Application windows still freeze on screen making it unusable. Not ready for prime time. Don’t bother trying to upgrade to an ipad as a laptop replacement.
