While Good has problems

snokro

Recently purchased app on recommendation but somewhat disappointed. Picture quality is very good though cannot comment on editing as do most in editing apps. Big Issue is location problem that has been mentioned by others to little or no avail. Unfortunately, for me it is a no go until fixed and I will continue using ProCamera. Please get fixed as app is decent.

No longer works

I used to love this app but it’s now broken

Disappointed

Hungry for a good HDR app I bought it, read the manual and walked away with it sent to the trash. Shooting with my 7-plus I tried the three exposure mode and got only two. I could find no way to save each of the bracket images to process on my iMac and no way to adjust the exposure range of the brackets. I’ve gone to the Pure camera where I get all three images shot (just as quickly as Vivid) and I can adjust the exposure by as much as three stops. Can I get a refund?

Used to be a great app

Hubby & I have been using for a few years. But app hasn't kept up with iOS updates ... with iOS 11, pictures taken with Vivid HDR have all sorts of weird colors getting added. Looking for a new app...

Five stars to one star, help i need a fix

I am lost without this app. It us a daily go to for me. Inexplicably, vivid hdr is saving the hdr images as plain white blank images. Can anyone please assist with how to fix this issue. Thank you

Fix the bugs, please!

IMHO, Vivid HDR is the best HDR app on the market, but it’s currently suffering from two problems that have lingered for several months and drop it way down in the ratings. Problem 1: The location feature that is supposed to indicate the location a photo is taken, doesn’t work. Images are incorrectly labeled with locations in Asia, mostly China. This has been going on since the implementation of IOS 11. Problem 2: The in-app editing feature is not working, and has not worked since about the time of the IOS 11 release. This is the feature that can be activated after selecting an image in Vivid HDR’s in-app gallery and tapping the palate icon. It’s one of the strongest features of the app that allows one to switch from Lively, Natural, Dramatic, Bleached and Grey Art, AFTER taking the original image. It also allows for adjustments to brightness, contrast, and a host of other variables. With these two problems, this great app is still worth the trouble, but it would sure be great if the software engineer(s) would fix these problems. I have written several times, as have others, but there’s no word as to when, or if, these problems will be addressed. Love the app! Please fix these problems!!

Ok, could be improved to be “great”.

Too many bugs lately. Crashes when saving to camera roll. Haven’t seen any updates in awhile - unfortunate. ProHDR still is the best.

Used to be great, now it’s awful

Gianinatio

Picture quality plummeted with the 64 bit conversion. Now instead of 100% great pictures, I get 10%. Most of the time it can’t properly overlay the colors. What comes out isn’t even interesting. Looking around for a better alternative.

Looks like crap on iPhone 7

I don't think this has been updated for iPhone 7 - images look terrible. No way to contact the developer to ask, but software not updated since march ... so presumably they are just trying to mop up more bucks from what used to be a great app.

Love this photo app!!!
