The VIRTUES REFLECTION CARDS offer an opportunity to reflect on, practice and strengthen virtues on a daily basis to transform our lives. The source of the research and content of the Virtues Reflection Cards is The Virtues Project™, a global grassroots initiative that is in more than 90 countries. It was honored by The United Nations as a model global program for all culture.

Ways To Use The Reflection Cards:
There are many ways to use the Virtues Reflection Cards: for guidance in making a decision, healing a relationship, clarifying our direction, or simply provide a spiritual focus for the day. They are a unifying activity when used in a sharing circle. When we receive a virtue, it is either a affirmation or an invitation and sometimes both.
Shake your iPhone or iPod Touch side to side for a random pick. You may scroll up or down to select a card from the list of 100 in alphabetical order. Click on the icon in the lower left hand corner to flip a card over. Click on the icon in the lower right hand corner to send a card as an email attachment.
Personal Virtues Pick: Randomly pick a virtue by shaking your phone side to side. Read the card, and reflect on its meaning for you at this time. You may want to pose a question before you receive your card. Journal it and keep a record of the virtues that appear for you each day.
To Begin a Meeting: Invite someone to randomly pick a virtue and read it aloud. Use the pick to help focus the meeting. At the close of the meeting, ask how it was helpful. Start your day or week by picking one virtue for your team. Acknowledge each other when you see the virtue in action.
Sharing Circle: While sitting in a circle of friends, family or associates, each person takes a turn to speak briefly about what is on his or her mind, or a life situation, then randomly selects a card and reads it aloud, and shares how it speaks to them. The others listen in complete, respectful silence. When each person finishes, the others acknowledge a virtue they see in that person. "I see your (virtue) in the way you…"

What a great way to energize yourself in the morning or to focus your thoughts on what matters during a hectic day! And what a wonderful way to share a thoughtful reflection with a friend (you can email these insightful cards to those you care about). Costs much less than a cup of coffee and does so much more the lift your spirits. Get this!

This is a very nice way to keep the Virtues in our life on a daily basis. I would rate it higher if they allowed us to check off the Virtues cards we've already read or track its use in some way. Hopefully they will add this option in the future. Very nice tho.

This is a great application for inspiring, educating and motivating. I do a card pick everyday and often share it with others. The application is great for personal reflection but can be used in many ways includingiopening team meetings to start a dialogue. The interface is well organized and the images are nicely designed. Well done.

I love this app as well as the educator cards app. It is exactly what I've been looking for. Such a wonderful resource presented in a beautiful way. I would give it 5 stars if I could change the size of the font (my eyes aren't what they used to be) and if I could bookmark cards I'm working on (I'm a slow learner :)). Otherwise, I love these apps.

I discovered this app when looking for something to help me with my spiritual practice. It has 100 universal virtues, or spiritual character strengths. Each card is so meaningful, filled with a description of a virtue, what the practice looks like, and a quote and affirmation. The app lets you e-mail the card to someone, so you can acknowledge them for a virtue. You can shake the app and pull a random virtues card. My husband and I use them to do “virtues picks.” We each share a bit about what’ going on, then pull a random virtue and share how it speaks to us. This app lead me to the work I do now as a Virtues Project facilitator. I can’t recommend it enough! I am looking forward to the new version which will allow us to post to social media! This is a wonderful app that will add to any spiritual practice, and a great way to start your day and to learn about universal virtues.
