I got this game for my cousin for what little money I had left, and she didn't like it. I tried it myself, being the cat/dog lover I am, and it sucked. It had a lot of good reviews, so I thought it was gonna be fun. When you said "loads of fun mini games" you meant one where you run through 5 golden hoops and 1 where you find bones for the dog to automatically pick them up. This isn't the best app out there. When you change the color of the dog, it looks like a 3 year old and their mom decided to paint their dog for a holiday while their dad said no. This time, they should have listened to the dad. This app should be free, so should all the other virtual pet games be. Little kids want these, and these days, little kids have iPhones and other devices. If they get ahold of a paid app and there is money on their account, say they have a big sibling who recently paid for something so it didn't require a password, the kid would get what they want and they would lose money. Any kid would get bored of this game. I want either a refund or a better update.
