Virtual city 2

Very fun! I love the first one too. Looking forward to the 3 rd one. Hint hint. Lol Highly recommend this game. Wish they would upgrade the first one so I can continue to play it since I did pay for it!

Very good

Very good and addictive game

Great game!

I loved the first one and this one is even better. The combination of time and resource management makes the gameplay challenging and requires careful planning. I keep returning to these games year after year and truly hope the developers bring back the first one and hopefully make a sequel!

Just not Happy

I have the first Virtual City on my pc. And they don't make this came for pc. anymore. So I bought this game for my iPad they keep saying build fitness centers but there are none. And I bought the game and I still have the ads. I am very disappointed in this game.

Great game

Fantastic fun

$6.99 is too much

This game is overpriced for all of its glitches. Lower the price and I'll adjust my review.

Very Disappointing

I'm not going to buy the full version after getting stuck on a level where one of the goals cannot be reached (therefore the level cannot be completed) because the train station simply doesn't work. After taking a bit of time reading reviews of the full version it would seem G5 could care less that they've released a game that makes even EA look good.

Glitch

Apparently the designers are no longer supporting this game. I am playing on an iPad and am stuck on Nevada Level 5. Searching the internet I've learned that there is a bug in the iPad version that does not allow a player to advance past this level. It has not been fixed in over a year. Last time I buy a game from this company!

Ok, but has issues

This review is for the full version of the game, but since I ordered it through the game and not through the App Store, Apple does not think I own it and therefore will not let me write the review in the appropriate place. Anyway, here it is. I've played many G5 games, including Virtual City 1, which I enjoyed. There are several issues with this version that are really frustrating, including -happiness and traveler ratings are a pain to try and manage. There seems to be no rhyme or reason as to when your rating goes up and when it goes down. Strategies that work on 1 level don't seem to work on others, so it can be hard to pass levels that require a high happiness or traveler rating. -building is very inconsistent. There are large, open areas that for some reason can't be built on, even though they are totally clear. What gives? This also contributes to the issues with reaching the happiness/travel ratings. You're supposed to build hotels near the airports/railroads/etc. to increase the travel rating. Well, if you can't build on those areas that greatly reduces the travel rating. -some of the tutorials can't be skipped, even when you are replaying the level for the 15th time (example: 2:2, Sneads, Florida). I don't wan to have to put out the fires individually, I want to build a firehouse. But every time I start the level I'm required to out the fires one at a time. -time limits are not long enough for the gold for many levels with all the other issues that have to be dealt with. -wish the bottom area with the goals/trucks/buses tab could disappear like in the 1st version. There are times it can be virtually impossible to try and select houses because of the menu bar along the bottom. Makes it difficult to upgrade the houses or add garbage service. I am glad that the destroy feature was upgraded from the 1st version. That is much improved. Otherwise, I'm really not all that impressed with these changes.
