This app has not been updated in 2 yrs. Important information is missing and no listing for new parks like Natural Bridge.

Sounds awesome but mine just continously "updates content" never does anything else. :( i ll keep trying but pretty dissapointing.

Was really excited when I heard about this app. Too bad I can't try it out - homepage continuously "updates" & you can't use anything. Try again VA State Parks & ParksByNature Network!!!

I was surprised to find the amount of GPS features available in this free app. I have downloaded apps like it and not to mentioned paid for them to get GPS features. This is a nice app. I was able to track and record my hikes...Very cool to review my trail, track and time on the map after I was done. This app is definitely worth the download! It's very dynamic and one more thing worth mentioning is the community of park goers that it's attracting on their Facebook page. They seem to have competitive outdoor challenges going off from time to time to get involved with. If you're like me, and like lots of features and gadgets, I would just trying it out!

No way to disable auto content updates. App is unusable during updates. If you are in the middle of no where, then you might wait forever just to be able to use this app. It needs to allow you to disable auto-updates so that it can be used in poor to no reception areas. Use it at home, figure out where you are going, and download the info from there. That way, the info is on hand when you get to your destination. Support seems to have an attitude about this, and I have given up after several emails back and forth. This has the potential to be a very good, all around app for those who use the Virginia State Park system. But they should not force the auto update (so-called) feature on you. I will be removing this app, and hoping for changes in the future.
