Coarse filter not working

Whenever I use the filter Coarse and try to export my photos all I get is a stretched, square, and cropped version of my photo. Not exactly what I want to happen.

This is a mandatory app on my phone, I don't even use the filters that much, you can shrink pictures to fit Instagram and you can write on the pictures with this app!! I post pictures of my nails and I wouldn't be able to post perfect pictures without Vintique
Can’t access shared albums

It can’t access shared albums though it presents them as a choice - just goes to a black screen.
