Occasional bugs

B-eda-K

Great game overall, with occasional goofs. I lost an upgrade of a gold storage after waiting 3 days for it to upgrade. After all that time passed, the storage didn't go +1 level.

Bugs or something

I love this game. It is fun and I enjoy spending my evening attacking people. But last few weeks It has been crashing on me. Everytime I would go attack someone or get revenge on someone. It would freeze then crash and exit to the home screen. Please fix this.

BAD

This game used to be lots of fun, but we loose all of our money if we cancel an upgrade? That's bull, wars got worse now that we need to attack higher level people to get points, wasted 1.5m on an upgrade by accident and canceled it and I got nothing back. I'm done playing this game

Better than most PvP games

Forza T

EverydayIPlay does a good job in always having something going on...a quest with various (sometimes lame) rewards, really good gems sales, double loot events, discounts in acceleration costs...etc. The time to cook troops is quite fast, for those who choose to wait. I use instant battle and that price is really fair. After each battle more times than not the game gifts you back some of your used troops, which is nice. My main complaint with this game is the pace. Unlike other games in this genre the clan war system is based on war points. With this new update the war system has changed. Now you fight two different ways. One is the normal pvp method, but it awards much fewer points than before. Playing pvp you earn compasses, with ever increasing requirement to earn the next. Each compass allows a direct attack on a member of your choosing on the enemy guild. Each enemy attack is worth different amount of points, depending on their difficulty compared to you. The issue I have is these guild fights are awarding huge numbers per fight and normal pvp practically nothing. Every guild member starts off with 3 free compasses so immediately the large guild is at a huge advantage. It is forcing merge after merge of guilds. Wars last 19 hours, with a 2 hour break between wars before it starts all over again. The clan with the most total war points for that war wins a few gems and crowns. But winning a war is not really as important as constantly getting as many points in a war as you can, as the game s broken down into week-long seasons. A season lasts about a week, with gems awarded for overall clan ranks. As good as this game is, it's easy to get burned out pretty fast. It is a very time demanding game. There are a few adjustments I feel the company needs to make in troops vs traps and defenses. Air troops have a huge advantage at the moment, with the troops having surpassed the air traps and defenses. When there's little need in replaying battle losses because it's the same troops over and over you know there's something out of balance. So, if you're just starting get those flying goblins upgraded ASAP and upgrade your own air defenses, because you'll need them. Also, there's a ridiculous amount of traps....an annoying amount. I feel they use the traps as a way to balance the game. It just makes things frustrating. My real pet peeve? These dragon towers that remain hidden until something gets on top of them...but the twist is that all defenses will be destroyed and you think the battle is over and all remaining dragon towers pop up at the end of the attack. It's killed many a 3-star win and is something I wish they'd do away with, or increase the activating radius. The game has about 8 heroes. Some are available immediately. Some unlock by purchasing them with gems. But some are the reward of a quest...and the final part of the quest is very, very difficult. You play with only one hero at a time but you have a few available at the start of each fight to choose from. Each can be armed with a Special Attack, which is created by crafting (spending gems or using 'nectar') to make 3 pieces from an attack set, of which you equip your hero so that attack is an option. BUT...crafting using nectar never gets you these needed pieces, which is a rip off, and you can spend a lot if gems getting misc other pieces trying for the 3 you really need. It is maddening at times. There is also more crafting for 'artifacts', which are 4 categories or items one can activate to speed building projects, get more loot from battle, increase your troops abilities in battle or increase production of your gold, beer or nectar factories. Again, you can use gems or nectar, but don't look for anything great using nectar and even with gems it seems the distribution is not even in what type you get. I think this company tries hard to be fair. The company personnel that deal with the players are friendly, helpful and personable, but they are really sometimes stubborn in clinging to game features that are not popular with players. The game shakes as buildings are destroyed...a feature they are proud of. As a player it is annoying because some troops require careful aiming, which can't be done while shaking is going on. Also, as you earn 1-star and then 2-stars the game briefly flashes white and during that time is unresponsive to commands and you find your hero has run into some dangerous defensive building rather than target it, as you intended. The game cursor is a default of one of your heroes, but not necessarily the one you want or are using. There should be a way to set the default hero you want, as too many times the wrong one accidentally deploys. Just a checkmark box would work fine. All in all, the game is pretty fair. The company seems interested in keeping the game fun for the players. They still need to fix some things and make a few changes/improvements too. Red flag...this game can be played via mobile app or through Facebook on the computer using Unity player or flash player. Unity allows more features but is no longer available through Chrome and will also be disabled in 2016 in Firefox when Mozilla also blocks it's use of some plugins. This leaves Vikings in a bad situation of trying to rewrite the game in a new format, allow it to just run as a mobile-only game, or kill it. Also, despite what the app description says in the App Store, this app is no longer compatible with iOS 6.
