A news app that never updates is absolutely useless. There is no excuse why this hasn’t been fixed. You are valued at $5.7 billion, so pay someone to fix it.

The most up to date co tent I can find is a piece on Charlottesville from August 2017. It’s now January 2018...

like everyone has said, the app seems great but the stories are all from a year ago. i guess vice gave up on the app, but if so just take it down. i love vice so i'm truly disappointed

Vice openly states that they know their app isn’t updating and they’re working on resolving it. That was 11 months ago. My ‘news’ feed is still full of articles from mid 2017.
So far so good.

Just started using it--I'll update if need be. My phone is still running iOS 9.3, so I haven't updated to 9.3.1 or 9.3.2, and I haven't wanted to while I'm not experiencing any bugs. I saw a couple reviews below me about bugs, one suggesting that 9.3.1 could be the specific problem. Anyone on 9.3.2 should comment if it does/does not work.
It's a good app, but iPhone only

I'd give it five stars if it wee an iPad app. I know I can install it and use it on my iPad, but it lacks functionality. For instance, all links from the app to Twitter fail to tweet and I have to launch Twitter, go to drafts and retweet. There would also be a loads better GUI and more content available on a tablet app. Vice, tell me you're working on it!

LifeZette claim shattered. I downloaded the Vice News app because LifeZette stated it was supportive of Trump but to my shock, the first story about Trump I read accused him of trying to push someone out a second story window, and 10 other EVIL acts he supposedly committed. DONT bother with this app for news.
Where is the balance?

Just downloaded this app, quickly noticing a lack of neutrality. I am not a trump fan, but there is not a breath about Hillary and the multiple, very REAL scandals she is a part of. Vice was supposedly set out to stand apart from the cnn, fox, nbc, and global media stranglehold. A note to the editor: if you are not reporting the facts in the spirit of transparency and neutrality, you are not delivering the news.
