Insta & Twitter Celebs Beware

Always improving! ??✨ This app delivers a valuable window for a new wave of creatives to step forward into world view. It evens out the playing field against social icons and stars on existing big brand social media platforms. Opening the door to new brands and artists. Keep up the good work. ??⚡️

I’m Excited for this App!

I’ve been on Instacrap for a long time, but it’s become Zuckerburg’s own little political machine. Vero has none of that (so far. Let's hope it stays that way!), And it's just a great app. Smooth, intuitive, stylish, and most of all, FUNCTIONAL. I can't wait to see where this platform goes in the coming years! Let's make social media great again!

Rooting for you guys

I’ve got high hopes for this platform as a viable alternative to ad driven and sneaky, invasive platforms like Facebook and Instagram. The idea of paying for the service shouldn’t be so off putting, what a lot of people don’t seem to realize is that while there is no money exchanged directly with the existing social apps, the users ARE paying for it...and an extremely high price at that. Any Service costs money to run, so as long as Vero remains loyal to its customer base and stays out of the tracking/data mining business, asking a reasonable service fee to use the platform is very fair imo. I sincerely hope you remain true to your stated business model and transparent in your dealings with your users. As for the app itself, I think it’s beautiful. Like anything new, it will take a little getting used to. Personally I like that the platform isn’t a carbon copy of the existing ones. Also, it seems that the developers are sincerely interested in considering the suggestions of the users. If people remain patient long enough for the developers to work out the bugs and roll out some of the suggested improvements, I see no reason why this platform won’t become quite successful. UPDATE: The app is working beautifully now, and the developer team remains responsive and proactive, so I’ve bumped my review to 5. I’m really quite pleased with this platform and its potential and have invited several people to join as well, who are in turn encouraging others.

Simple, beautiful design

Ditched Facebook and love this new app!

Love the layout

I am hopeful this will be just the thing I am looking for to boot Facebook for good. Just wanted to get familiar with it before I told all of my connections that I was jumping ship. One question so far.... so no text posts? I’m kind of wordy and love to share my mind. The thing I didn’t care for with Instagram is you are limited to posting an image. Is there any hope for posting just comments with no attachment? Also- I LOVE how easy it is to slide and include different levels of connections. That’s super convenient. I don’t have any friends on here yet so not sure how I will like the connections thing (noticed others comments). I just want to be able to keep my privacy- my own. I would be willing to pay a small amount for that also down the road. Need to get people onboard, first! This is a GREAT time to market yourself hot and heavy!!!

Grandioso

La aplicación es genial, se centra en lo importante una red social de cosas importantes, no la basura de Facebook , nasa de stories y la Sarta de basura que Facebook te entrega con su algoritmo asqueroso

it could be so much better

i have been using this app for one mouth. at first it was all good. app was working smooth and fast. i have sended some emails in that time to support team and they have answered very fast. i rated this app 5 in that time because I really loved it. but now i have to change my rate to 1 star because 2 big problems: first is the app. I'm using the last version and still i see freezing screen usually. so many lags and bugs and it's really annoying. second is support team. they didn't answer my emails and it feels really bad. it shows that maybe they really don't care about users.

I still have a learning curve, but I like it

I jumped on the Vero bandwagon at the end of February, and endured the frustration of the app’s growing pains of a sudden influx of new users. Then there was the big concern over privacy which led to a few of my friends to leave Vero. I’ve stuck around, and I’m starting to share more posts. I do find this concern ironic in light of the fact that I am typing this while Zuckerberg in a televised hearing for Facebook’s privacy breach. My only current frustration is how to find people I want to follow, and how to gain followers since I denied Vero access to my contacts when I first installed the app. I really like the interface and so far it has been really easy to create posts. I haven’t had any server timeouts in a while so I’d say good job on handling that. Edited to add: it does still seem to drain the battery rather quickly on my iPhone 8.

Would like to see additional features.

I’m enjoying it so far. I’d like to see the inclusion of video games someday. I’d also like to be able to select a venue for where I am listening to music, watching a movie, etc. Also, adding some sort of current weather feature would be interesting to include in a post.

Liking it so Far

User base is the key. If it doesn’t grow quickly and give you social interaction, then what’s the point of a social network? Hopefully it will succeed. Keep it chronological too! That’s what I can’t stand about Facebook and Instagram.
