I've tried almost all the id scanning apps in the App Store. This by far exceeds all of them. The UI can use some work but unlike other apps it does what it says it does literally every time for me.

Works great, and is a very affordable and easy way to scan IDs. It automatically syncs up with the web portal so it's very handy.

We used to use some other guys before, but VeriScan app is soooo much better and has many useful for us functionality. We use this app on 8 devices in our club and we are very happy.

Just downloaded and tried the app on a known fake ID. It comes up as a legit ID. Could be fun to use at parties, but DO NOT use this app if your business needs a foolproof age verification system.

I tested this on a couple of driving licenses. It tells you the name address birthdate and driving license number. In the bottom left corner is a big color box with an accurate age on it. An expired license has the expiration date in red. It works good even without a subscription.

I use VeriScan Online for its visitor management capabilities for my plant. As soon as the visitor's ID is scanned, I receive a text. I can be assured that their ID has been checked for validity. It even integrates with my MK Denial subscription. I recommend this to anyone who wants to upgrade their visitor management and access control systems.
