VerifySpot

VerifySpot works AFTER the sale and does not interrupt the transaction process. Once the customer completes the checkout, they are instructed to download the VerifySpot app and scan the QR code they see on the merchant’s site. VerifySpot then prompts the customer to take a picture of the payment card and initiates a secure process to verify their identity with the merchant.

We were getting crushed by fraudulent transactions from sophisticated scammers that always passed phone number verification, IP verification and credit card verification checks. VerifySpot completely stopped them. Because it requires proof of card possession and their GPS coordinates, the scammers went off to scam places that are easier.

Since integrating VerifySpot into my site’s checkout process, chargebacks and fraudulent transactions have dropped to almost nonexistent. Customers like the added security it provides, and even though they do have to download the app, the process is so fast and easy that I haven’t received a single complaint yet. Great service.
