Third trip to Venice

A sunrise lover

This is my third trip to Venice and this guide made my life easier. I took the tour to Murano and it was the first time for my wife there, we loved it. The guide has all you need at no price. Really like the design and the ability to be able to navigate offline specially while using the maps. I recommend this travel guide if its your first time in the city or even if you already know the city.

Venice travel guide

I have downloaded this app just before my trip to Italy. We landed in Rome and went straight to Venice. I was pretty lost at the beginning as I didnt know you could not get into downtown driving so I decided to use this venice travel guide to help me find the main attractions I wanted to see. I am really happy with the performance of the app and I took advantage to also book a vip dinner with my wife after a gondola ride. This city is amazing, if you havent visited yet, you should put it in your bucket's list.

Great orientation info to prepare for trip

Modern fashion

This app really helped me to understand the lay of the land in Venice and provided essential info for preparing for my trip heading to a complicated place!

Irritating

Floridian 5454

Pretty useless information but solicitation to upgrade to the paid app pops up every thirty seconds or so. VERY irritating

Poor quality

Maps are worthless, don't expand properly, no street names. Italian language also worthless, uses familiar fir formal settings. Sorry I didn't see the previous review before I purchased.

It's not awful...

...but it's not terribly useful. The map is a wasted opportunity. That alone should be worth $5 or more, but it lacks necessary details and fails to do it's primary job: guide you through the dense, confusing "streets" of Venice. The decision to break up the suggested itineraries by the length of one's trip has potential, but even that is clumsily executed. For example, if you're staying for five days, you must first read the guides for 1, 2, and 3 day trips separately. And why certain things are only worth seeing on a longer trip is never explained. It appears to be based more on geography than anything else, which is a shame. Just because two things are close to each other doesn't make them of equal importance. And the information itself is mostly bland and incredibly superficial, barely scratching the surface of what makes Venice so unique and interesting. My wife's old fashioned guidebook was heavier and had no GPS function, but we found ourselves referring to it much, much more.

This app is an incredible tool for those who enjoy the feeling of being lost, and frustrated. Though the app includes a map feature, the maps are too small to be read. The GPS provided uses what seems to be a Guess and Point System rather than any functional positioning system. You'll find this app works best on clear nights when the North Star is visible. If given the choice, I'd sooner find my way across the moon with a stick and a blindfold than use this app again. One would be better off downloading a guide book. I am sure this is the beta version which was released by mistake.

Terrible app

Muttbarker

Constantly shuts down, does not show street level maps. No instructions- not worth a penny. Kevin

Terrible app!

Last bastion

Do not waste your money! There is almost no detail in the map. Forget about things as simple as street names. Send me six dollars and I'll send you an ink drawing of Venice on a napkin for you.
